The agony of waiting & the irony of well wishes...

My period was late for 2mths and juz "arrived" but nt without beri bad cramps and excess flow..i aso felt giddy on the 1st day...

Told tis conditions to Cindy and she advised me to go to the doc as it is quite rare for me to feel the bad cramps along with feeling weak and giddy...

Thus to the doc, i went...doc told me there is 2 possibilities, either is hormones imbalance or i am experiencing miscarriage without knowing it myself...in any case, she ran a test on me to make sure i am not preggies..

although test results were negative, but she told me there might be a chance tat cuz miscarriage is happenin and thus the results were negative..her advice is, to go for a scan after my period has cleared to be double sure that i am not carrying any babies...if the scan clear the doubts, then this time, the unusual conditions i am experiencing nw are due to hormones imbalance le..

Down in my heart, i sincerely do hope that these are due to my hormones imbalance..not due to miscarriage as it is the saddest news on earth to know tat you are preggies through the news of miscarriage...though i took the prescribed painkillers, but the pains came bak on n off, which is abit worrying for me..the agony of waiting,to go for the test, is killing me slowly..

On the other hand, i posted some thing on FB, to vent abit of my worries, but the ironic thing is, some of them couldnt see the negativity in my message and keep asking whether i am preggies.. tok bout adding salt on my wound...i noe is no1's fault and they are juz concerned bout me...but then to link everything bak to being preggies especially on this issue is juz wrong! i mean if i were to be preggies, my status update will nt be so negative rite...

well, like wat cindy told me today..its nobody's fault in this issue and dun dwell on in..i realli muz thank her for calling and cheering me up knowing that this scary cat is scaring herself to death at hm.. i will be strong and hope that my prayers and your prayers are heard no matter is to which god...

As mentioned in earlier post, we planned to go to sentosa for a day..heheh..meet up at 8am at CCK for breakie..mum insist lo..so damn early!!!is a rainy mornin n nearly spoiled the day for us...

Took the bus to Harbour front centre, bro say there is this bus tt goes directly to RWS but then we didnt wait for it, cuz too impatient le..heheh..its been like donkey yrs since we last went to Sentosa as a family..it sure changed alot...

1 thing didnt change is mummy..she totally refuse to go to any attractions tt requires entrance fees lo..faintz..the onli thing she offered is to treat us to bike ride 4 an hr..like when we were young, she will rent bikes for us there...think it used to be 5bucks..whahah when we went to check out the price yest, it is 12bucks per hr...u shd see her face..priceless lo the face..60 bucks for an hr 4 the 5 of us..n since she offered to rent 4 us, we refuse to fork out any $$ on our own..whahah end up, she ask us to walk, say its the same =_='..

All of us started our long walk...Mummy said she wanted to go the beach to take a look, it used to have those water vehicles where we can rent for a 15min ride or so 4 3 bucks..but nw its all phase out le..On our way there, she keep naggin at Liang Liang cuz he is the onli 1 whu wore jeans there, which she says will trap sand while we walked along the beach..super naggy this mum.

Mr Love n me...

See how Liang Liang fold up his jeans..whahah

There is seriously nothing to see le, except for a few small grps of plp playing beach volley ball, the beach is basically empty, n we couldnt play beach volleyball with mummy n she is abit cranky over the weather ..in the end we juz walked ard b4 finding our way out of the beach and move on the other attractions..

On a floating beach tat links the island to a small breakwater...

Wanted Bro to buy me ice cream but its nt open for business yet..
With Liang Liang, its been a long time since we 2 took a photo..

We went to Imbiah lookout next to look ard..Wanted to go Underwater World but mummy disagree again..whaha so we juz stood outside n look at the pond and then move on..Then it is next to Fort Siloso, images of Singapore...but again we juz walked ard in the shops and took abut of photos here n there..its juz like a walking trip ard Sentosa..Mummy can be beri stubborn smtimes..Even though i offered to pay for the tix, she aso dun wan, giving the reason that we've been to all these b4..but tings will change 1 wat, to attract tourists..

Outside Images of Singapore

While we were walking ard there, Jie met 1 of his sec sch classmate..tok about conicidence... We continue walking to the Merlion Statue where again we camwhore abit there..It was there where we realise there is a photo taking booth mostly for tourists to take photos infront of the Merlion for sakekeeping purposes..

Its been a long time since we last took a family protrait together, by saying family protrait, i onli mean the 3 of us plus mum, it has been a norm tat dad was nt included in the photo as he neber went any where with us..this time rnd, however, we had a new memeber, Mr Love..hehe We took 3 different designs n then procceed to choose 2 to buy where 1 is placed is Mummy's hse while the other 1 in my hse..every 1 looks gd infron of the camera, i must say :)

Taipei 2010 Day 4- Part 1-Typhoon making landfall

We woke up to a gloomy Taipei this morning and realized Typhoon had made landfall in Yilan though not Taipei. Throughout the night, I can hear the howling winds outside the window. Very scary if you asked me, I keep worrying about something might be blown up and hit our window. Didn't have a good night sleep amid the howling wind.

Interesting caption outside an umbrella shop
Took breakfast and went out to search for the extra bag I wanna buy and found Ximending to be sort of a ghost town. Due to the typhoon, many shops are closed today and we are not sure whether they would be opening for the day or not.

Luckily, I managed to find the shop to buy a cheap cute looking plastic bag to throw in my stuff for our return. I have also received a message from the airlines stating that our flight will be delayed by 6hrs to 2am.

We then went to the hotel's business center to send email to our company informing them that we need to apply for an extra day of leave due to the delayed flight.

Wet and gloomy Taipei
Since we are holding to the return bus ticket to airport, I need to get the it exchange for a later time as we have arranged for it to picked us up at 5pm. Learned from the receptionist that we can make a trip to the bus terminal at Taipei main station to get the tickets changed.
The mascot needs help to stay upright
Turns out that the bus company we brought the ticket from doesn't operate from Taipei Main station bus terminal and it's terminal is at some other place that I didn't heard off. We decided to forgo the return tickets and buy from the company operating at Taipei Main station bus terminal since it's really time consuming to get there.

The buses here had all stopped running due to the typhoon and will only resume once the weather is good enough. Its pretty scary though that even transport ceased operation in times of typhoon, if every thing didn't return to normal by this evening, we are gonna be stuck here without a room.

A very quiet Ximending
We then returned to our hotel to check out and decided to park ourselves in the Starbucks across the street to wait for time to pass since there is no where else we can go in this weather. Left our baggage with the hotel though.

Cosy starbucks
There wasn't much people inside Starbucks except for a few tourists like us. Guess everyone is staying in due to the typhoon. This is gonna be our place of refuge for the net few hours till we are due at the airport.4
Black forest cake & hot coffee

Busy with his hp
Found a comfortable seat to park ourselves and ordered 1 cake and coffee to share. Not really in the mood for food but we cannot be sitting there without ordering anything can we?

Mr Love was toying with his phone while I continue to read my book. Thank god for my bad habit of bringing a book everywhere I go, at least I had something to do while waiting.
After 4 hrs of waiting

Reading material for 4hrs

Windows all taped up

Got bored and start snapping pics of me
At 5pm, we decided that we should go grab dinner before making our way to airport. Not knowing what was open for business here, we decided to duck into the 1st shop we see as we walked along the street.

The wind had somehow subside and few shops are opened and there is finally some crowd in XMD at 5pm.

Strong wind still
We went into this shop that sells rice with soup and ordered braised pork rice for myself and pork with preserved vegetables for Mr Love. Since it's a cold and windy day, we decided to order 1 soup to share to warm us up.

My dinner
Love the braised pork they served, its like they deep fry the pork before braising it. The portion is also big enough to fill your stomach even you don't eat the side dish like in my case. Hehe I didn't know they allowed you to choose other side dish like tau pok or tofu and didn't request for a chance. But I totally cannot stand the smell of the bamboo shoots served. It's like there is a peeing smell to it.

Mr Love's dinner

Mr Love ordered pork with preserved vegetables (梅菜扣肉)where he was given a big piece of pork belly. I don't really fancy eating pork belly so gave this a miss. Mr Love said that the pork belly was well braised with the sauce.

Fish ball soup
The fish ball here is different from our SG version. It is 2 times bigger than our version and they added minced meat inside the fish ball. Once you bite down, the sauce spilled out of the fish ball which is especially warming in this weather.
Big ass fish ball
Prices here is also reasonable. The total bill came up to less than SGD10 and we had a very filling dinner. The shop is not every eye catching, situated in the middle of a rows of shop but it does served pretty good food, business is considered brisk too, at least to us for the 15min we were here.

Shop interior

Ordering counter
After filling our stomachs, we decided to make set off for the airport though it is still early. Am still worried about the bus services and whether there would be further delay due to the typhoon. Since we did not have any accommodation for the night, the only choice we have is to wait for our flight at the airport.

Random dog we saw in front of a shop
Tired out by the attention

Of lanterns and babies...

the other day, while chatting, mummy "casually" told me that 2 of her fwen's daughter in law was preggie with boys and her fwen told her that cuz during CNY, she had brought latterns (deng) to hang in the hse.."Deng"is hafing the same pronounciation with "ding" in hokkien i tink which symbolised sons...

Whahah the purpose of the whole conversation is abit pointless..whahah but i know where she is getting to...hehe so i told her that my mil did tat during our wedding...but u noe why i was not preggie?heheh...cuz i didnt try for 1 lo...so no matter how many latterns u hang in the hse, there will be no babies unless i start trying..wahahah

she got the drift n i told her need not go buy latterns for this coming CNY le..whahahah

Better luck next time, Mummy..
