Life is beautiful, because I am with you...

Its been 9 yrs since we got together..in a blink of eyes, 9 yrs have passed..lookin bak, it seems like yest tat we juz know each other..how we were fwen for 2 yrs b4 comin a couple..how we saw each other thru our ups n down..



Our life has taken a change since gettin married, relationship have taken to another level..we are not alone any more..not single, but married, as an 1 entity...gone were the dating days where we can afford to throw our temper ard when we are unhappie with each other..now, we will have to learn to live with each other flaws, learn to accept each other faults and be more tolerant towards each other..



As we celebrate hubs' bday on 24th, we also celebrate our 9 yr anni on the 28th..As usual, we went out for a meal..this yr, i treat hubs to the buffet in Swissotel, Merchant Court as we both are quite impressed with the food there when we went with fang & edwin the other time...



After the dinner, we went 4 a walk in Central mall, brought 2 pairs of couple slipper frm Hush puppies and went 4 a stroll outside along the mall...As we walk down along Singapore River, we talked about our early dating yrs, the things we used to do, places we used to go with our limited pocket money,dreams we haf..we watched each other grow and grow with each other...


While we walked along the streets, i suddenly haf this thinking in mind..."Life is beautiful, because hubs is by my side, he's there to support me thru the ups n downs, share my joy n sorrow...thinkin back of the decision i made 9 yrs ago, i noe i made the rite choice...

Final day of exam..

Finally, after months of studying, preparation, today is the last day of my exam and i have this bad feeling tat i am nt exactly ready..but nebertheless i will go n give my best shot..no need to score but at least pass the paper to avoid a retake next sem...

its been a tough mth 4 me startin in May with KL leaving us n joinin HR...juggling with the extra load of work, plus the leave i took 4 exam, the exam stress, my dad's pro has taken a toll on me..

I make mistakes at work, struggle to finish the work load, struggle to stay awake to studee at nitez, struggle to stay awake working in the day, try nt to neglect hubs, try to solve the pro at mum's side, trying to help her prepare her europe trip, listening to her complaints, and tryin to stay sane...all these hopefully will come to an end once i finish this paper today...

will be bak at work to clear the tons of work tat is piling up due to my exam leave, hopefully this mth will be a better mth den last mth during closin as i do not need to face exam stress..

Man, how i look fwd to a well deserved break but nt anytime soon in this mth as i would need to seriously look into tidyin up the work...this is the least i can do 4 them after my exams...

As i am doin my last min preparation, i sincerely pray tat i would be able to ans the questions later n pass this paper..tat, would be a reward 4 me for all the things i went thru during this period...cross ur fingers 4 me plsz....

Knowing that its my exam period, hubs' been extra sweet to me recently..
endurin my frequent mood swings, stayin at hm wif me while i studee..okie, he has his PS3 to keep him busy, asking me whether i wan to do some retail therapy to take away the stress...

This mornin after breakfast, he suddenly tells me “老婆，我很好的，我知道你要准备考试，我自己烫我的衣服。。”after which, he proceeds to take out the ironin board and iron to prepare..

I was looking at him with puzzled eyes, for yesterday nitez i oredi told him tat i have finished doing the chores while his is at trainin as i got tired frm studyin n decide to flexed my muscles by doin hsework..whahah

So I let him take out all the equipments n wait 4 him to discover that his clothes are hanging neatly there oredi..whahahah, so much for being nice to me...his offer came abit too late.. or rather i am faster in finishing the chores...whaha

now, he is sitting in front of his newly brought HD ready TV, njoying his PS3 game, while i studee my head off for my last paper tmr...

Outing with Jas gal

Its been nearly 3 mths since we last meet after both of us left SNP.. and becuz of our different class schedules and all that, it was after a few coordination b4 we are able to decide on a date...whahahah...

decided to meet at Vivo city, but didnt manage to decide to eat wat..so it is decided tat we will decide when we reach there...but as my office is nearer, and obviously i will reach earlier and i was tasked by Jas to go ard to decide wat i wan to eat...heheh i settled for Ajisen ramen..whahah

Although we will communicate via email everyday, but then there is still alot of things tat we have to update each other when we meet lo..eye candies, house hold matters, previous company gossip, each other's life..whahah 3hrs meet up is super not enuff can...

It is fun to meet up with her to gossip, cuz she has a veri different personality frm my other fwens, her bo chap attitute, her "i dun care wat others tink as long as i am happie" is smthing i can neber keep up with..so when i tell her my problems, the advices she give is frm a totally different perspective which makes me see thing from other point of view...

We part ways after a 3hrs chat and promise to meet up after our exams..man, i look fwd our next gossip session..till then my fwen....

Madness at sch...

Sch's been mad recently lo..Been hafin sch on nearly every sun since CNY...


Its been tiring can..every sun mornin need to wake up for sch..n smmore is mornin class..
after tat will have to go MIL hse follow by hubs' tt trainin..so basically whole sun is gone le..

So, i will have to deal with hse work on sat..or rather i am onli left with sat to do hsework...man, i lost count of how many months hubs n I didnt go out 4 a decent date le..even 4 my fav passion shopping, i will juz haf in mind wat to buy, and go in buy le den go off le..

Hubs been busy with his Table tennis trainin too..on both sat & sun evening..and it is eating into our schedules aso..if we wan to date, we will have to work ard the timing..so all in all, this few wks is super boring 4 me..no decent shoppin trip, no decent dates with hubs and most importantly, no meet up with my gals!!

hopefully, when my papers r over, i will be able to haf some breathing space and time to meet up with fwens and go 4 a short getaway with hubs...lookin fwd to mid june...

Hubs is telling me about his accountant who went Japan for vacation with her hubs n left their child bak in spore..whahahaha As the accountant was ranting that she had want another child, we will speculating that this trip might be a baby making trip too..whaha Thus the baby will be "Made in Japan"...wahahah I noe abit bad la..but jokin onli ma, n moreover, it is not infront of her..whahah

So, I asked hubs, so where u want our child to be made in? His answer was damn quick, he said " Since nowadays, nearly everything is made in China, why not made our child in China?"

So the next time when we are going plan for a child, we will go on a tour to China..whahah..

But then again, I will perfer to a "Made in Europe" ...whaHAHAHA

My Bday 2010 & 2nd yr weddin anni

Not sure whether it is confusing to say this is my 2nd yr weddin anni or nt..as I got ROM on my bday 2 yrs ago..legally we r married 4 2 yrs..traditionally is 1 yr.. but whhaha i still will celebrate both occasions lo..excuse to get pressies ma...whahahha

Anyway i actually wanted to take half day off and go flyer with hubs de..but then in the end the leave fell through & i have to stay in office as 2 others r on leave..since i dun wan cause WW3, den bo bian lo..hubs say bday muz be happie dun go cause WW3, later cannot celebrate properly..whahaha

My pressie for this yr has already been announced..whahah the ring..it was actually scheduled to be collected on my bday itself after 6pm but then i called them on tues to ask whether we can collect it early like in the noon as at tat time i tot i'm able to go on leave but the jewellery told me it is quite impossible as they have a fixed time for the despatch, therefore i gave up tat idea..

On thurs, a sales person from the jewellery shop called and told me my ring is ready for collection. i guess they dun wan to promise anything but then they did tried to get my ring ready 4 as i had requested.Hubs n I went down to collect on the day and thus we can go 4 celebration on fri instead of rushin to go collect the ring 1st...

Yest for the celebration, we went Changi Airport's Fish n Co 4 dinner..dunno y, but i juz like ambience of our airport..whahah smtimes we will go there juz to eat popeyes..whahah n walk ard n see our beri famous but nt all pretty air stewardess..whahah

We were very disappointed with the serving at Fish n Co.It was nt as much as before le..And it was nt fulfuilling for both of us and thus hubs suggested go buy popeyes n share..whahahah i noe i noe, we 2 cannot realli eat..whahah

We went T3 1st but then as the outlet is too packed, we decided to go T1..but then T1 is as packed lo, though T1 is under renovations..nevertheless, i found seats 4 us at the counter seats n hubs went to buy 3 pcs chickies to share..whahah...i was still disturbin hubs by askin him y no cake 4 me?he did buy a small cake n brought it to my hm yrs ago when i celebrated my bday..but now..no more le lo..the results of gettin married..whahaha

We walked ard abit more b4 leaving as the 3 hrs parkin is gonna be up soon..Its 2.50 per 3 hrs there and the reason we walked ard is nt to waste the 3hrs ...whaha n can act romatic abit by lookin at the landing n taking off planes..eh..but i didnt tink we saw any...we were mostly checkin out our SIA gals, commenting on their figures, faces, age..whahah typical sporean..whaha...

Nothing special on this special day, but we both njoyed ourselves by spending some quiet moments together...

Finally, my proposal ring is here...

I think fwens ard me are more kan cheong/excited/happie then i am when i told them this..whahaha...After 2 yrs of marriage, hubs finally brought the proposal ring he is suppose to give me before our marriage 4 me...whahahah..

As most of you all noe, he didnt propose to me but instead asked me to apply HDB flat with him ard 3yrs ago..and from there, things went quite smoothly with us getting the flat, getting ROM and finally finished our wedding banquet all in a yr's time...whahaha...

Financially, we were very tight when we got married as we have got to spend the monies on our flat tt time and he onli manage to buy the wedding bands which was aso on a tight budget..hhehe but nevertheless, it was the ring that symbolised our union..so i wore it faithfully on my 4th finger ever since we got married...but he did told me that he will buy me the rock when he has the monies...i neber give it much tot, cuz i tot he is still saving up..whahah..

On thurs, while we were shoppin in JP for dear dear and part time's pressie, suddenly he whisper into my ears "Lao po, we go choose a ring for you from 1 of the jewellery shop later kk? I get for you as a pressie for your bday n our 2nd yr anni.."I turned ard n look at him suspiciously, to look out for any sight of joking but no leh, he look damn serious...

Still, i was not convinced lo, so we walked into the jewellery shop after i got my bestie's pressies...When i saw him looking very carefully at the rings, i was convinced lo..whahah okie i shd nt doubt my hubs like tt but then he showed no signs of wanting to get me a ring b4 tt kk...nt onli tat, he shows no signs of wanting to celebrate big for my bday n weddin anni lo..he juz mentioned we shall go 4 a meal tat's all...

He was quite okie with me choosin the ring 1 wan..but since every 1 looks nice to me, i let him choose which 1 looks better on my finger...whahah n becuz he is paying for it, i was want him to choose so tt i will not burst his budget cuz he didnt tell me how much he can spare for the rock..

It was pleasantly surprise that he didnt choose the smallest(cheapest) of all hehehe...but instead he choose 1 mid range 1 cuz he say the rock was mounted more nicely on tat ring...n it looks nicer on me as i haf fatter fingers..

He later told me tat he felt quite apologetic towards me cuz he didnt buy me the ring early enuff when we got married then and apart from occassion teasing, i didnt pester him 4 the ring and instead so he decided to get me 1 as soon as he could afford..although it is nt a big rock but he told him he will "upgarde" for me in future as the rock as a trade in value of 100% within 2 yrs or 80% after tat...whahah..

watever it is, i am contented le..contented tat he did remember his promise to me yrs ago..contented he kept it in his mind although he didnt show it to me..Rock is big or nt is secondary, but the thoughts behind the buying is the most important thing...

my v day surprise...

This yr marks e 9th anniversary of our coupleship, aside from the 1st yr,i've pratically received no surprise during Vday every yr...1st yr is a hand made bouquet of roses which I admit I was very touched when i received cuz knowing him, to let him come up with this idea is a great task itself...whgahaha

this yr, as v-day is the 1st day of CNY,as usual i harbour no hopes on any surprise from hubs although hubs keep tellin me he have got a surprise 4 me but i brushed it off as part of his "NATO" tricks which he is fond of playing with me...

Base on my previous experiences, he will juz tell me he 4got or he himself is the pressie when it comes to the actual day..not tat i mind alot, i am juz used to it..whaha...

This time it seems, it is for real as according to him, he planned this in Jan itself...On New yr eve, while we were out 4 lunch at IMM, he was still trying to "test water" we passed by a florist and as usual i asked him where's my flowers as tmr is VDay and I dun mind receiving a day early cuz no florist is gonna open on CNY..

He still ask me whether can wait till after Vday den buy for me or nt as he thinks flowers r super over priced during Vday and smmore coincides with CNY...i still manja to him say he every yr tell me same thing but after tt he will 4get to give me the flowers le...he still retort tat he noes i tink its a waste of monies to buy flowers as they will wither away within few days..any way i tink the conversation end there as i was distracted by someting else..whahah

anyway we went hm after tat to do some last min spring cleaning..with him washin his beloved fish tank n me cleanin our room...den his phone sms went off, n he told me help him read as he is busy with his fish tank. with that i took his hp and stand beside him n read aloud the msg lo... the sender name is "flower" which makes me abit puzzled..but still didnt strike me as anything unusual as he is used to saving those hp sellers/buyers nick...

the msg went like this "bro, ur flower are ready to be collected tmr at 8am at AMK mac"i read word 4 word to him n then asked him "lao gong, wat flowers?"His expression was priceless can, cuz he realise he had juz spoiled the surprise he is plannin 4 him...whahaha..he was like, "why the hell i ask u to read my msg for?" whhahaha..

But then it kinda solve a problem 4 him as he didnt noe how to tell him he wanna go out of the hse early in the mornin on CNY without me questioning him..i mean it is practically impossible as his parents are expectin us in the mornin...

He refuse to tell me anything else bout the flowers n juz told me that we will collect the flowers together and then go his parents hse 4 the cny visiting...whahah so sweet can..i was veri touched...neber did i expect him to pre book the flowers 4 me...n add on the bear n a cup which he says i can bring to work to remind me tat this is my Vday pressie...whaha..

Mayb finally after yrs of waitin, he is starting to wake up his idea...whahhhahah...lets see whether next yr will have something or nt..or this is juz a once in 5 yrs gesture...whahha

Long Long time no see

Its been a long time since i last blog..wonder still any 1 rememeber this blog?whahaha..been super busy n lazy...besides work, there's sch, there's hse work, there;s family, there are fwens and more importantly there's my hubs who needs my attention...

anyway...here i am le..while waiting 4 hubs to play his table tennis game at Yishun sports hall, i am bloggin on my lappie which i cleverly brought along..whaha boring to see tt game leh...

CNY have jus past not long ago and tis yr marks our 1st yr as a married couple to give out ang baos...last yr although married but then we went korea 4 honey moon so missed the CNY period..whahah..this yr is aso the 1st yr that i joined his family 4 CNY celebration..

Overall its a good experienced and i kinda enjoy giving out ang bao to his younger cousin although the amt is nt alot..whahah i not rich kk and there are quite a number of them..givin them ang bao makes me feel adult...whahah although I AM la...

CNY is aso a season of alot of eating lo..went relative visitings and the only thing we did is eat n eat..mostly is steamboat...whahah i tink i gain alot of weight during this period..kk...i will update the other events in separate posts since i have all the time in the world to type it out...heheh

Tv VS reality

We were watching 台湾龙卷风last nite and in 1 screenshot, the wife was telling her husband:

“你屁股一翘，我就知道你要放屁”
“你吞一吞口水，我就知道你要喝茶”
“你摸一摸脖子， 我就知道你闷，我会去拿报纸给你看”

I couldn’t remember the exact words but the script is something like that la…then the story moves on as the husband and wife quarrels over some things..but in the end, they both make up la, with the wife telling the husband that she is going to get him a cup of tea..
So he asked her whether she saw him 吞口水, that’s why she is going to pour a cup of tea for him…
Know what hubs did? He immediately came in front of me and keep 吞口水 and tell me he wanna drink water le..

the other meaning of 体贴

Recently i found out that my hubs has an other side of him that i dunno lo..his black humour is something i cannot fight can...

We were watchin tv together and there was a scene on the leading man was very 体贴 to the leading lady and I asked him whether he will be as 体贴 to me as him or nt...

Almost immediately he came up to me while i was lying face down on the bed and he lied on top of me!!!

His ans? " 我拿我的身体贴着你，够体贴了吗？"

I nearly died with him stayin there for a good 5 min till i admit he is veri 体贴...

My very "High class" Mummy

Mummy and I decided to go to Bangkok over the weekend for a quick getaway. She had actually wanted to go on this trip very long ago and is only waiting for either 1 of us to be free to go with her. Since Liang Liang had already went on Sept with Val, therefore only left me to go with her lo, since my elder bro has no interest in visiting BKK.

She had actually been to BKK de, but then is with a tour grp and therefore she didn’t get to visit MBK, or the weekend market, which makes her a laughing stock in front of Liang Liang and me as we told her if she hasn’t been to either of these places, she cannot say she has been to BKK. Bearing this in mind, she had always wanted to go back there to visit these 2 shopping paradise.
But going on a trip with her is not as easy kk? Although she dunno much about BKK but she knew about the hotel besides MBK-Pathumwan Princess Hotel and told me specifically that she wanna stay in that hotel. Also, she will only want to fly SQ and not other airlines.

With this in mind, I went to a tour agency to book the a free & easy tour to Bkk. Mummy being mummy, is worried about taking taxi from airport to town and therefore would want to have a tour agency to fall back on and for the transport to and forth airport.

Although the price we paid is enough to let us fly to Hong Kong for a 3D2N stay but I think mummy is willing to pay to have a more comfortable stay in BKK, me? This is the 1st time I spend so much on a free & easy tour. Usually, I will book a 3star hotel and fly budget airlines, but then for the sake of mummy, I would have to go along with her requirements.

Now, all the bookings are done and confirmed, we are flying off on 31st Oct and will be back on 2nd Nov.

Yest, Jas n I arranged to meet on early sat morning to go somewhere and we asked our bf n hubs respectively whether they would be okie with the meeting time set at 8am.

My best Pal found her baker!!!

Years ago, I tink in 2007 i wrote an entry of my best pal-Fang's requirements for her bf aka baker..I 4got wat i wrote in tt entry but i remember it's quite a long list.

Fast fwd to 2 yrs later, yest hubs n I went with her n her soon to be baker to sign their banquet contract. Actually it was suppose to be only they 2, but then becuz her soon to be baker couldnt confirm his schedule, so she got me to be accompany her..but in the end every 1 can make it, so hubs n I juz went along and wait at the lobby..

As we were tokin yest, it suddenly dawn on me that we have known each other for 17 yrs..tinking bak, i didnt know how we manage to maintain the friendship with the both of us taking a very different path as we grow up..

It's a very happie thing to see ur good fwens settling down 1 by 1, especially when I'm aso happily married, I aso wish to see my surrounding fwens to settle down happily, in yrs to come, have our kids and can still bring them out when we meet. Tat, would be anothe phrase of life that we are taking...

Well, I look forward to the day when we will bring our kids out for gathering..whahah and also free tuition for my kids!!!whahhaah...CONGRATS GAL, on finding ur baker!! hope ur "bakery" will have alot of "juinor bakers" in yrs to come!!!

The other day while Hubs went to sch, I went to have dinner wif mummy as usual...After tat I took a bus from CCK interchange home..I seldom take from there de as I always drop at Yew Tee or hubs will fetch me..

Tat day, after I alight at my stop, a guy in his 20s approached me and asked whether he could be my fwen. I was quite shocked.1stly, which era does the guy come from?I tot this kind of pick up only happens when i was 18 or 19, he look like he is in his early 20s le as he is wearing formal clothes so I guess he is in the work force le..

I immediately shake my head and walked away, to be frank, I was abit scared as I'm alone at tat time and hubs is aso not at home to come down fetch me...He was abit persistent, and asked me again why cannot, in the end, I decide, the best way is to show him my wedding ring, man, shd take a photo of his face, those like 被打败了de face...whahah..I almost feel sorry for him.. Man, I was flattered kk, a married woman, still got plp pick up...hahah..He walked away after that and I went hm le..

I told hubs when he came home, and he kept luffin lo..dunno wat he meant..maybe he tink tt guy is blind..heheh..next day, i was tellin Jas n Angie about this..and the Jas gal rite,keep luffin n luffin at the guy and said that if this is his 1st time pickin up a gal in this manner, man, he will haf a phobia approaching other gals in future...whahah

Angie was more funnie, she told me to tell hubs tat I still haf value 1 kk, not depreciated after we got married..hahah so nowadays, if hubs said criticise me in any way, I will answer him "我是有value的 hor"HEHEHEH

Jas, on the other hand, is a more "controlled" buyer, she onli brought mayb 4 pairs?heheh...It took me months before I set my mind and asked hubs to bring me there to check out the shoes..

Dun go still okie, once when I set into the shop, I couldnt control myself and brought 2 pairs lo!! 1 pair of heels and another pair of flats...heheh I actually wanted to buy the mouse design onli but then since it doesnt comes in heels, i choose another pair which have heels de..but then i still she bu de dun buy the mousey flats so i brought 2 pairs at 1 shot...heheh since i'm nt the 1 picking up the tab, so nvm lo..whahah plp agreeable lehz...

well,Jas told me that I'm hooked onto the shoes le..realli lo, all the design looks so desirable!!realli wanna go buy again but then again the prices are quite steep for my standard...hmmm guess gotta wait for another occassion when someone is willing to pick up the tab again den I will get a new pair..hehehe

A VeRi CuTe BabY

In a blink of eyes, my tenant's baby turns 1 this year, the past 1 yr with him in our hse has made our lives more lively..He's cute, smart, naughty..super friendly and of cuz quite close to me..he will give me a hug or kiss when i reach hm..
