March babies outing 2011

Its our annual gathering..the biggest celebrations of all, March Babies celebrations..heheh cuz out of the 4 of us, 3 are born in March..And due to our different schedules, onli I am able to meet partner on her bday this yr, so this is aso a belated bday celebrations for her n advance celebrations for us..

Went to Ma Maison in Bugis, ambience is quite good, food is not bad n most importantly company is awesome!!Dear n part time came late due to work n traffic jam n so partner n I started our dinner without them..we were too hungry to wait le..whahah

It was till 8pm den dear arrived n while waiting for her to finish her meal, we started chatting or in fact we oredi started to update our recent events with 1 n other while waiting...hehehe

Yiyi suddenly asked whether had we graduated for 10yrs, hmmm we calculated, no..its been 7yrs onli but then we had known each other for 10yrs as we were enrolled in the yr of 2001..Recalling the times we had in poly, it is always a joy to bring up a few of our personal jokes..N come to think of it, the 4 of us did not stay in the same class throughout our poly yrs, at some point or another, we changed class and managed to stick together in between classes...

I was neber a fan of gathering but smhow, I would not cringe at the idea of meeting up with them as i felt comfortable sharing my recent events with them n hearing them updating theirs..its like there's a bond between us that no matter how busy we are with our schedules, we will try to meet up once in a while juz to catch up...

Dear is still as classic as ever, blurting out comments tat shocked the 3 of us n keep us luffing the whole nite..the private time i had with partner b4 the 2 other came along allows me to complained to her about a few recent unhappiness/shit things...Yiyi is the cold face joker which we keep teasing her n the kan cheong spider who nearly broke the necklace she wanted to give me as she could not get it untangled..whahha

We went on to take a few photos after the dinner as its a yearly practice..Its been a long time since the 4 of us went out..Its good to see u all after these months sisters..till our next gathering...Meantime, lets stick to the 2 person outings while waiting for every 1 to sort our their schedules whahahah....

Inflations

Government had announced that they are raising the forecast for inflations rates to 3-5.5%..yesh i'm so gald u all noe...but y is my salary not raised to curb the inflations??

I am already feeling the heat of the increased prices lo..not the "wants" but "needs" 2 examples that happen within these 2 days are...

Yest, while queuing up to buy the famous ang ku kueh at AV, I noticed that there is a notice telling us that frm 1st March onwards, all kuehs there will raised by 10cents lo..yesh, 10cents is not alot but then if u r like me, every time i buy, i will buy 10 at 1 go..n that, would cost an extra dollar...After 10 buys, it would be equivalent to 1 free box..so there u go...inflations at its best...

the other instance is, this morning while going for breakfast, i notice that my kopi-c will be charged 10cents more again frm 1st march onwards...n now a cup of kopi-o will be 90cents..i was shocked lo..it used to cost 60cents 2 yrs bak leh...n my pay had nt increased so significantly over the past 2yrs!!!

I was rooted to the ground for a while, while checking out the prices..n the coffee stall auntie told me tat every drink will go up by 10cents..damn it, i need to drink at every breakfast de lo..

I guess my plans to stay off shopping will need to be stretch 2 mths more..whahah to offset the extra monies i am paying for the rising food prices...Am wondering how long more i can control as I am beri tempted to go shopping, especially after last nite's outing with my sisters..it reminded me tat i had stopped going shopping for the past 1 mth...

V-DAY 2011

As every 1 is basking in the romance of V-day, Mr Love n I didnt have much celebrations for this day...We both agreed that this day is over-rated and thus wanted to avoid the crowd by wanting to go 4 meal on Sunday but Mummy invited us out instead saying that she's gonna give us a treat together with my 2 brothers...So off we went with my family..

Mr Love then brought 2 pints of ice cream of me as V-day gifts as he thinks flowers are too ex and useless...the 2 pints of ice can satisfy my craving at the same time shows that he noes me well enuff to noe wat i love to eat...

On v-day itself, we avoid going to restaurants but instead went to Airport instead...it was indeed
nt as crowded as other days..whahahha

Finally, yest, he brought me to eat our v-day meal...crabs!!!whahah We had intended to treat Still road crabs that Cindy recommends but couldnt find the coffeeshop..end up, Mr Love got angry and thus changed the location to Irwin's cze char to eat the salted egg crab which i love as much..he promised to bring me bak once i got the add correct..whahah

Shanghai 2011

Went on a trip to Shanghai for 5 days during CNY with Mr Love, Mummy n MIL...Its was a trip tat many warned me, it was a trip that I tot I could survived and found out I realli couldnt handle..

Yes, it was not a pleasant trip at all, i would prefer time alone with Mr Love but couldnt becuz we need to take care of our mothers need...The onli time we have for each other is at night when we retreat back to our rooms, by then we will be too tired to tok le..whaha..

Yes, i totally understand those concerned fwens' reminder but still this is 1 in a lifetime chance to see whether we can embark on such trips again or nt..Answer is oredi out..whahah i tink i will stick to 1 on 1 trip next time..either with Mr Love or my mummy...

Perhaps, we will go back to Shanghai again but this time will onli be the 2 of us....
