I was told by many girlfriends that to know whether the man you married is Mr Right or not, you can observed him during times that you need him (i.e when you are sick).
Not that I wanna test him intentionally but sometimes things just happen.
Mr Love was with me whole day on the day of surgery. The worries he have are no lesser than mine though I can feel that he is trying to stay calm. But judging from his refusal to leave my side to go for his meals and the look on his face when I was wheeled down to the OT, I can really feel his worries, love and concern for me.
He later told me that during the 1 hour plus when I was having the surgery seems so long and he waited anxiously for the nurses to call him. The surgery took longer than expected and therefore it kept him on edge till the call came.
I can sense his relieve when I came back to the ward with him helping to set out my dinner and making sure I was comfortable enough to eat. Can see that he is tired out from the whole day event and it took quite a lot of persuasion before he agreed to go home and rest.
The past few days while I am recuperating at home, he went out of his way to make me comfortable though he had to report to work.
I will cook simple lunch and leave the dishes for him to wash when he returns from work. He would make sure my breakfast and dinner are well taken off and knocking off on time so that he could buy dinner in time for me.
I know that when I wakes up in the middle of night to the toilet, he would also stir awake and make sure I am well back in bed before falling asleep again.
Yes, during the difficult times not only me are suffering. My closest one is also suffering with me.
I know I am blessed to have found him and married him :)
