March Babies Zoo Trip 2009

The last time I step in the Singapore Zoological gardens was in 2007 when part time bf got hold of free tickets to go to the zoo..heheh..tt was like 2 yrs bak le lo...heheh 2 yrs later, part time again got free tickets for us to visit zoo again...heheh

We meet at 10.45am but got held up abit cuz dear dear was struck in a jam..As usual, we went to watch the elephant show at 11.30am...it was part time's fav and aso mine..although the show is always the same but then they neber fail to make me luff at the part about the elephant refusing to wake up frm its nap...

We then went to walk ard with part time and JM leading us the way...Dear was super excited at every enclosure can...I tink if its allowed, she will bring the tigers, lions, puma, the different species of primates hm as pets lo...whahhaha...beri cute, her expressions....after all these yrs still the same..

Zoo pretty much remains the same....but then it was great to see the gals despite every 1's busy schedule..a pity partner didnt come along...and ya..forgot to take photos with the guys this time..mayb 2 yrs later ba..hahah hopefully this visit will continue on....

yipppeeeee..My 1st ACCA paper is finally over...whahaha...so gald its over...i've gt like 3 wks of holidays b4 the next sch term..come july, i will take 2 modules..dunno can cope or nt...but 1 module like abit slack like..if i take 1 module each sem, dunno need to studee till when le...

Man, the burden is finally gone..my 1st business paper...nt as bad as i imagine and as the lecturer had make it out to be..or is it my imagination??dunno, i find the paper manageable leh.. typical ans is "Can pass, but cannot Score"whahahah...heck care, as long as can pass, i celebrate le...

Nw tt i have time on my hand, i'm gonna go bak to my jewellery making..been buying too much beads/findings but nt doin anything...hahahha..i wan make new earrings/bracelets/rings/necklaces heheh...

While waiting for Hubs today...

Although I was sick yest and slept half a day away, I manage to drag my ass up tiz morning to acc mum's godma-Popo to AH for her physiotherapy session...Actually I wanted to bak out and ask mummy to go de, but decide against it as mummy gotta work today..i was super tired ar, and slept in the waiting area 4 a while b4 takin out my books to studee...

After sending popo hm, i went down to Chinatown..tt day i saw a lady wearin a nice pearl bracelet and wanna make a similar 1 4 myself...afraid that i might 4get the design, i need to go down quickly to get the required pearls since i onli stock up on the beads but nt the pearls...

Hubs 1st called and say he can book out by 12.30 and told me to wait 4 him to take lunch together but as i was reaching chinatown, he say change to 2pm...faint...i need wait till at least 3pm b4 he can reach le...

Since I have so many hrs to spare b4 meetin him, so i decided to walk ard chinatown and aso help my dad to search for foot reflexology posters for him to paste n his shop..but after walkin ard 3 shopping centres-Chinatown point, People's park centre and Pearl's centre, I gave up..

I walked passed DMK and saw a pair of shoes that I like and decide to try my luck and asked whether they have bigger size or not...I have tried askin twice b4 this and both time, they told me the largest size is 38 while my size is 40..i tink today is my lucky day lo, the sales auntie told me their largest size is 41..which means there is hope for me should the shoe cutting is small, at least can get the biggest size...heheh

But then after checking, the sales auntie told me tat both 40 & 41 are sold out..I was so shocked can, didnt expect there will be gals with feet as big as mine..whahah...smmore 2 colours both sold out...with 2 pairs each...which means there are mayb 4 gals with feet as big or bigger den mine.. The sales auntie told me to try 39 as the cuttin of the shoes are of bigger cut and thus i decided to try...The shoe is surprising quite fittin although is 39 lo, but nevertheless, i got the sales auntie to help me expand the shoes and she went an extra step to help me apply wax ard the sides to make them more comfortable to wear...In the end, I was a happie customer...on top of tat, i have found 1 more shop to shop in given my big sized foot....the onli shops i patronize are Charles n Keith(Seldom now as their shoes are quite uncomfortable and will always give me blisters, now i change to buy their bags le), URS-their designs may take quite a while to change but usually their shoes are quite lasting and comfortable..D&C a brand which can onli be found in Chinatown, IMM and Far East I tink,smtimes their shoes design is abit off but smtimes if u r lucky, can get quite nice design...but their shoes are nt tt lastin as compared to URS..but prices are of cuz lower too...So DMK is now in my list le...aiming to get the VIP card...heheh

After shoppin, I went to Coffee Bean to grab a cup of ice blended mocha and my Fav--double chocolate chip muffin...although it is a no no given my current situation but i realli cannot resist the temptation...heheh sat there for a while b4 procceding to OG for the aircon to get away frm the heat...

I walked ard OG for quite a while, goin round n round, touching everyting along the way...I was bored to tears le, n Hubs is still struck in the camp..I spent quite a long time in the household dept..tinking whether to buy the bedsheets on offer...its quite reasonable, the price..59bucks for 280 threads,100% cotton, a complete set with quilt cover..but then i haf more than enuff bedsheets le lo..My MIL gave me like 5 sets, and i aso brought 1 new set during my weddin..so i decide nt to spend the money..maybe buy towards yr end for CNY use..whahah..

Next i went to the kids dept and aso spend a long time there playin with the toys...whahah tink plp might think i'm siao le..but i juz wanna check out on the new toys ma...In the end, i brought a Care bear to hang on my new Longchamp bag, which seems kinda of plain to me..heheh as there were alot of colours to choose frm, i took my time to try out every colour...hahaha I also wanna buy the big 1 leh but my rm no space le, n hubs say cannot put in his bao bei..*bleah*

Hubs finally came at 3.30pm..but then i was already slply,hungry and grouchy frm the heat..it's been a long long day for me....

I'm sick sick sick....been having runnin nose for the past 2 wks...but then still okie..juz tat i can feel smthing big is comin up...today, while in office, suddenly i keep feelin my throatin is burnin n painful...in a span of 2hs, i have already drank 3 bottles of ice water hopin the sore throat will go away..cuz everytime when i develop a sore throat, it will lead to a full blown flu, fever, headache, bodyache,running nose will complete the whole flu package...at this time when the mention of flu will set off the alarm bells for H1N1, i realli did nt wan to get it..

Plus as we haven finish the reporting for May, thus i dun wan to go on MC...but i'm still waiting for my FM to finish her inputs b4 i can move on with the reports...But yest, my accountant has finished her overdue reports and so, i decided to finish updating it 1st b4 decidin whether to go hm or nt...it took me the whole mornin to finish updating the report...but by the, my head is throbbin and threatenin to explode any time le...

My FM notice that my face is quite pale aso and adivse me to go see the doc after lunch...I tink its onli fair that i go see a doc le, if the virus is passed to other colleagues, its not fair for them..so after i'm done with the overdue reports, i went downstairs to the company doc..but need to wait till 2pm b4 its open and since i'm in no state to stand there for half an hrs, i decided to come hm here n see my usual doc...

The clinic nurses will takin precaution when they heard that i'm hafin sore throat n fever..all of them were wearin mask..and i muz say, the doc is super fast in her diagnosis lo..every patient goes in for onli 5 min den come out le...she said tat my throat is infected le and started me on a course of antibiotics and a few other med...

I told a nap after that med and juz woke up for dinner..hubs will nt be comin hm tonitez due to his night trainin...haiz...gotta slp alone tonitez...i hate it and especially when i'm sick...gonna take a shower and goin to turn in le...

My new hobby

I'm nt sure how many of my fwens noe, but i totally love doing DIY beads jewelleries and have quite a collection of them. But since i'm always juggling btw sch and work, in recent yrs, i have slow down on the creation.mayb once in a while den i dabble with it.

Recently, there is this new craze of blinging ur accessories with the stick on crytals...i've been tempting to try them but always cannot find smthing suitable to try without worryin about spoilin it...i actually wanna bling my new camera de but is afraid of spoilin it with the super glue..plus if nt properly done, it will be beri ugly...and also if i bling, hubs will nt be able to use it as it is too loud for his usage le..so i dropped the idea...

1 day while we were out, as i was wearin my sunglasses,it suddenly strike me that i can bling my sunglass!!!since it is nt an expensive 1...i juz brought it for my korea trip as plp told me that the snow can be quite glaring...but then i didnt realli use it there...since goggles were provided during skiing, and other than that, the snow will nt thick enuff to cause discomfort to my eyes...hehe...

okie, back to my idea of blingin my sunglass...i read in a blog that the crystals sold at Arab street is quite cheap and got hubs to bring me there...eh..i'm nt sure it is cheap leh, i tink its cheaper at the shop in chinatown that i usually patronised...but anyway i brought 2 pacs frm the uncle since i'm there le...gt abit discount smmore, but jas told me that the uncle always give discount automatically de..hhahha

Den i went to buy epoxy glue frm DIY shop and brought 1 that onli sets in 90min so i'll have ample time to shift ard the crytals to get them in the rite positions..for a starters, i juz did the sides of my glasses and is waiting for them to set it...but then have to keep adjusting the crystals frm time to time as they keep shifting out of position...i juz found that cannot apply too much glue..it will be come too slippery for the crystals to stay on...

The 1 book I've been reading recently is the pocket notes of F1..The paper which I am suppose to take next wed...Although the lecturer has mentioned that it is nt enough to juz read the pocket notes, but the actual notes are too heavy to bring along to work..thus I make do with wat i have ba, since i dun spend as much time on travellin as compared as b4...

But this book will be become history after next wednesday...so the search of a new book as begun...I always have this habit of readin b4 bed time or during travel times to keep myself occupied..it seems that time moves faster this way and i will not find the journey long if i read on my way...

Yest, as i was readng TNP, i came across an article featuring a local writer and her book - The Mile HI! Club...In this book, the author who is an ex air stewardess gives an insight on the job of a steward/stewardess.

So today, after dinner with mummy, she suggest to go Popular to walk ard and I decide to go check out whether they carry this title or not, if nt, den i will haf to go to kino and buy le...hehe lucky, they still carry this title under local write and hence i brought a copy...couldnt wait to start readin to see wat juicy stories tat the stewardess had write about..

hehe till then, den i will do an entry on the book...i go read it le...

For some, sunday is a rest day but for hubs n me, sunday is consider a busy day...we always try to slp in late on sun as sometimes we do go for late nite movies on sat..like yest, we watch the 9.40pm Terminator...so reached hm at ard 12am...

So we slp in till 10pm today..heheheh...If nt for mummy's call,i tink we will slp later ar...hehe..after breakie at teck whye, we came bak to do some hse work...1s ting 1st is to clear the laundry, which is overflowing with clothes lo..it's been a wk since i last wash the clothes le.. hehe..so quickly put into the washin machine...

Den its off to ironin clothes for me while hubs' duty is to vacuum the room, clean the fans n air con filter, change his fish tank water, n washin his "bao bei".....Since hubs is on reservist for the next 2 wks, i need nt iron his working clothes, onli need to iron his civillian clothes n jeans...which is pretty easy job...his shirts n pants requires more time as needs to be more smart looking...

After we r done with the chores, we took a late lunch at ard 3pm b4 headin bak to his parents hse..his mum n sis are both out today, so we chatted abit with my FIL and then head bak to my hse at 6pm for dinner at mummy's place...

Then we went to BPP where I got my long awaited camera Panasonic FX-48...I'm been eyein it for a long time le..Its 25mm wide lenses caught my attention and since hubs n me always have trouble fittin into the screen and also to take the surroundin, i figure out that a wide angle camera will allow more surrounding to be fitted into the pic although it meant that everything will be smaller in size....

Well, we will neber noe if we dun try ritez..I'll post up the pics once i try takin it with hubs during this wkend..tt is if he can come hm frm his training....till then, i'll be exploring the various functions of the camera 1st...

HUbs working on sat

hubs went to his IPPT again this morning..this is his 2nd last chance b4 he will kena RT..whahah..actually he failed by 3s last wk de..n he took the test 1 day b4 his window period closes and so offically he needs to go RT..but then god is on his side..he is due for his reservist this wk and shd he passes the IPPT arranged by his unit, he can clear 2 windows together..Last and current yr window..and so the good news came while I was still in my slumber slp today at 9.30am..He finally cleared it..which means to say, he will onli need to start worryin about passin after 24th May 2010...whahah..I tink he will onli worry about it when it is near to 24th May 2011...he always wait for the last min b4 chioning to go take his test...whahahha...

Anyway, as he is on reservist during closing period, he needs to go bak to his office today to finish up the reporting part...that's the problem with AR personnel...there r tons of reporting to do during month end..I used to cannot understand but now since we r both doin AR, i can understand better..mine is half way done yet lo...still waitin for my FM to finish her input b4 i can continue...so tiz wkend, i need not bring work home to do lo..yippppeeeeeeee

So i went for breakie alone this morning and did my grocery shoppin with my new FAIRPRICE PLUS card(hubs applied the card for my use de)..whahah we were persuaded by 1 guy in JP fairprice on Mother's Day to sign up the card and since i always do my shoppin there, y not? And also, I can collect link points when i doin my shoppin at other places like Metro, Marks and Spencer etc...I always buy my biscuits there..hehe..

Anyway today, i realli outdid myself...on top of my groceries, I 假厉害to go offer to help hubs buy his 3 1.5 L bottles for his in camp trainin usage..my arms nearly broke when i walk home carrying them and my other groceries...when i reached my hse, the little chap in my hse (tenant's child) was luffin at me when i dropped all my stuff on the sofa as i am too tired..1 yrs old onli, noe how to luff at others..win liaoz..

Man, I'm getting restless at home and haven been studyin as hard as i shd have been...promise to hit the books once i come home frm lunch with mummy..but that is t b4 we finish shoppin at causeway point la...whahaha...and tt is if hubs haven finish his work yet...if he finishes chances r we r goin to watch the Terminator tonitez....yippeeeee...happie sat....

it Has bEen 8 yEars

Its been 8 years since we got together..more or less, the celebrations gets milder n milder by the year..hehe reduce to onli eatin a more special dinner on the special day...yest, hubs can to pick me up after work..he is on reservist for 3 wks n yest was the 1st day...on our special day 28th May...

I oredi "booked"him to go fo dinner at my choosen location- Beach culture at Pasir Ris park..heheh i read in a mag that the ambience there is quite nice and so i decided to check it out. The 1 n onli time i've been there was years bak when i went to the then Fisherman village with my ex colleagues for dinner. But I tink it has been close down some time back....

The park is quite big i tink cuz we went to the wrong carpark at the 1st try and the stupid GPS couldnt give a choice of carparks. In the end, my rely on the good old street directory to guide us to the correct carpark.We spend sometime searching for the restaurant we we reached as their sign board is nt obvious lo. they have another name it seems- Water Cross....

We were sitting at the outdoors. Abit dark i shd say, althought there are candles on every table but still have some difficultly to read the menu..Jie have to use his hp touch light to shine on his menu.hahah...erm becuz yest was a relatively warm day, thus it is nt as windy as i've imagine it will be..but luckily, they have huge standing fans ard there to keep the temperature cool...i remember that the last time i went there, it was quite cooling to eat by the sea side...

We couldnt see the sea very well frm our table as its been block by the plants...at ard 8.30pm, there is a live performance by 1 female singer who entertained us throughout our dinner with some very nice old english songs...The food there is still okie and i love the fried chicken...yummy yummy,...

I guess the place is more for plp to chill out and have a drink or two and some snacks but nt a full dinner like us...we were the onli table who didnt order an alcholic drink...hahha...cuz we both dun drink de....anyway, i juz wanna check out the place ma since it is featured on the mags...

Overall, the experience there is nt bad, I would wan to try goin there on a afternoon so that can see the surrounding better but i tink will need wait till the weather turns cooler abit..which means shd be in nov or dec..hahaha...but it is realli super far frm our place...it would be ideal for my gals gathering session where we can tok and chill out there over some drinks...but given the location, i doubt we can go there lo...y can't they have 1 at the west coast side??haiz...

Anyway, i was tinkin over the past 8 years that we both went thru...frm being fwens, to startin a r/s to gettin married and finally to start a family in a few yrs time...times realli past by fast...without knowing, i have known him for 10 yrs, smtimes, it still amazes me on how we 2 met and got together..but i guess, its all fate....on tiz special day, there is no special words said, no special gift presented, no special surprise plan..juz a simple dinner together as usual onli at a more special place...well plp always say, "if you 2 are happie together, every day is a V-day" so i tink it applies in this case...if we r happie together, everyday is our special day...wouldnt it be???

As the title suggest, today is hubs bday..HAPPIE BDAY HUBS*MUACKSSSSSSSS* the celebrate started eh i tink last wk when i treated him to the crab feast..ehh actually is becuz i like to eat crabs..whahahah

Den i aso brought his bday present in advance cuz last wk was a torture wk to me, totally no time go shoppin becuz of sch..at last it is over...but it will nt be over offically till i finish my papers *burps*

Hubs realli noe how to reward himself on his bday, he brought a PS3...."shhhhhhhhhh" cannot tell our parents...both side will nag non stop...whahah...but he better make good use of it, if he shd play for 3mths den get sick of it, i make sure i sell it away...it is damn ex kk??can buy the LV neverfull that i set my sights on but neber have e heart to buy...

went bak to his hse cuz his mum cook a feast for us..hahah..today is family gatherin..his whole family was there...eat till full full ar...

day 2 of torture week

Hubs n I are eatin our cup noodles in our room nw..the smell filled our small little rm lo, n we r gonna slp with the smell tonitez..hahaha...eeekkkksss...

juz got bak frm sch and is damn hungry can, i onli took a cup of cuppa with a small bread 4 dinner as i dun feel like eatin as i'm in a rush to class...as usual keep fallin aslp in the last 30 mins..dunno y leh den suddenly i will become super alert n last thru the rest of the class le..haha i gotta resort to msgin plp to keep myself awake...

Am gettin beri tired nw...gonna slp soon once i dry my hair...for the time being,the 2 of us are bak to facin our lappies...surprisingly, in this small small room of ours, we each manage to find a space of our own n can do our own tings...its quite nice, but i will prefer a studee room any time cuz i'm sittin on the floor now doin my studyin lo...

exam is juz ard the corner n i realise i'm in deep shit..dun realli can recall the things i've learned when the lecturer was goin thru e revision..kua kua kua...seriously, i need to do some serious studee le.hahhaha

day 1 of torture week

today is the 1st day of the torture week where i have to attend 4 days of revision class plus the new jap class with lily n fennie..dunno whether they will fly me areoplane or nt...

keep fallin aslp again in the 1st half hr of class...win liaoz..1st day onli...got 3 more days to go...but then i become alert after tt..heheh

yest had a beri fulfillin day at eating..heheh..MIL cooked fried chicken and fish for us..the marinated fish is oiishi neh...den she aso made us papaya milk shake n soya bean..eat till we 2 cannot move..hehe she nearly every wkend make snacks for us lo..gonna be beri fat at this rate.. but whu cares..the food is superb!!

after that we went down to my pops' shop and took dinner at his highly recommended coffee shop..but then leh, we didnt eat much, cuz we r too full frm MIL's food..hehe but still eat the dishes w/o rice...the food nt nice 1 leh, small in portion smmore...

the onli more okie 1 is the shark fin soup..which every 1 of us took a bowl...costs 30bucks...after tat we went hm...mum was tokin none stop on the way home..cuz she is realli bored w/o me goin hm yest..hahaha

gonna go slp le..tmr is gonna be another long day...

It has been a busy wk for the 2 of us and we were lookin forward to the wkend where we can slp late and laze ard..but yest started off early for hubs as he needs to go for ippt..dunno where he got the information from that if he drinks a cup of coffee b4 his run, it will boost his energy..he is nt a coffee person but he says tat desperate times calls for desperate measures...hahaha so i woke up early wif him to make him a cup of coffee b4 returnin to slp till he comes bak frm the run..fyi, he didnt make it thru the 2.4 again but at least he says, he shaved off 1min plus frm last wk's results..hahah..

After breakie, he went for his "weekly exercise" while i stay hm to do the hse chores--laundry..this is a must every wk for if i dun do the laundry,hubs will nt have enough clothes to wear for work..haha me?i can tahan at least 3 wks b4 runnin out of clothes..kua kua kua...

Yiyi called me n tok to me for about 2hrs while i was ironin our clothes...we chat bout our recent happenins, gossip abit, b4 movin on to exchange pointers on r/s issues..its good to hear her voice although nt meetin up as often as b4..and it has always been her callin me since i dun haf a hse phone to use...hahah

I brought work hm this wk to do as i'm afraid that i couldnt finish in time for month end closin..but i'm nt as productive as i'm in office..hehehe..nvm, do wat i can lo...

oh ya, yest hubs n i went to eat at Irwin's zhe char near my workplace after droppin off my mum at the hotel where she is attendin a dinner, hehe the crab beri nice leh, golden salted egg crab..abit salty but its smthin we neber eat b4...i've been yearnin to go eat there since i pass by it everyday on my way hm...hhehe yest finally got a chance le..the prices there are also quite reasonable...same as those coffeeshop zhe char but maybe the dishes are smaller in size...

I'm now waitin for the clothes to dry and then will make my way down to my in-laws hse..tonite dinner will be with my parents near my dad's shop..gonna check out his new shop...

TiRED but FUlFillIng

Abit of updates on my job...damn it,i still haven finish my Apr salesmaster!!!!Goin siao over it le, I've been facin it for more than 1 wk le...help!!hope that after tiz round, i've a better idea of the work flow..

Coming bak to my life, yest was a long day, rush to sch after work...its been a long day at work, n i slept for the 1st 30min in class..heheh didnt manage to write down wat my lecturer has been sayin in the 1st 30min of the lesson, but after that i manage to stay fully alert till end of lesson...
Lucky got hubs to pick me up after class n i can rest earlier...if nt i tink i'll more tired lo..

Lily n Fennie have "jio"me to attend jap class together on every fri, i've discussed with hubs he is agreeable to let me go..hehe yipppeee japanese class here i come along with the my 2 beri funnie colleagues...i'm sure it will be a bash!!but am not sure how i am goin to cope when sch reopen with me takin 2 papers this time...but will onli overlap 1 month la, unless they wan continue the other levels..shall see, shall see...

i brough hubs a watch the other day for his bday n 2 shirts frm G2000 today. Actually i dun intend to buy him the shirt de but then 1stly all his shirts like abit old le, 2ndly dunno where my colleagues go take vouchers for extra 25% on top of final bill so beri temptin lo...whahahha..over spend le...

2 more days till wkend...gambatte!!!tmr continue on my sales master...

Tie, Tied Tied!!!!!

Been facing the excel report whole day since last fri...need to tie the figures frm our report to ACCPAC report...eyes nearly pop out..but felt great when i finally got it done...muz realli thank fennie for teachin me n aso for guidin me along...

It's been a busy wkend for us, celebrating mother's day, bring my god-grandma to hospital etc, I'm glad Hubs is with me, givin me support..of cuz we do haf our quarrels every now n then but we learnt how to give in to each other as we go along.

Looking thru our weddin photos, I realise how time files. Its goin to be 4 mths since we held our customary and soon we are free frm the "limitations" soon. It has also been a yr plus since we moved into our flat. Although it is quite empty n aso lack of renovations, i felt veri blessded to have this flat to call hm...

Every time when we go Daiso, ikea, NTUC, Carrefour etc, I want to add some thing to the hse, hehe although hubs is complainin tat our room is super pack le...hehe..shd see our storeroom, goin to burst le..hahah

I was tellin hubs, I wanna put bak the study room next time when we renovate our hse, name is "Study room"la, but then hor, I'm goin to put all my bags, bear collection, Macdonalds collection in the room..so it's gonna be my private room, or walk in wardrobe..kua kua kua...

Okie, I'm goin to day dream bout the renovations nw..hhahah

The celebration for my mum's mother's day cum bday celebration was yest. We booked a buffet dinner at Zhou's kitchen this year. This yr has the biggest attendees of all--7 of us...the 5 of us plus 2 new members- Hubs & Val (My younger bro's gf)...

The dinner started at 6pm and is suppose to end at 8pm as agreed with the restuarant..Luckily i made a reservation last wk ar, the queue was super long when we reached lo, but we were ushered in when at 6pm sharp..hehe my mum was happy cuz she need not queue up, moreover, she is super hungry(as usual).

I actually didnt noe that the dinner was a self help buffet..Hubs n me assume that it's a ala-cate buffet as previously when we went to the alexandra outlet for high tea, we were orderin frm their menu...

In any case, i tink my parent njoyed the dinner though they are not eating much..my dad was like a food inspector goin round n round the food to see wat's new has been brought out...

This yr's celebration was a quiet 1 as we juz treated my mum to a dinner unlike the previous yrs where she will asked for gifts, this yr she onli went to bug my dad to buy her a new hp...As i didnt noe wat to get for her, we gave her an ang bao to let her buy wat she wants...

Hubs n I went shoppin while the rest of them went home...Happie mother's day n bday mum!!!

The last time we had a grp gatherin was in March where without fail for the past few yrs after graduation, we will meet to celebrate our bdays...The last time i met 2 of them is in Apr where we went for the compliementary buffet frm my wedding banquet hotel..

Well, suddenly i miss my sisters alot!!!i miss the days we go eat n drink coffee and gossip...Although it is not easy to oragnised a gatherin as we have different schedules but i still wanna meet them leh..

Many times I wan to msg them for gatherin de, but then smtimes due to work, sch n family, i will haf to miss out the chance for gatherin...den keep tinkin of next time...i tink i seriously need get my arse off the sofa n move to organise our next outing..whahaha....

Hospitalization leave

Let me start with the check up..Reached NUH at 10am, as expected, went thru health screening 1st b4 we r allowed to go upstairs for my check up. Jie has to register himself as I haf an appointment letter and he was an accompanying relative. But we both have to wear the masks for protection..abit stuffy..but its 4 our own good..

When we reached the clinic, the nurse check me in and asked me to pass all my tings to hubs before leading me into the procedure rooms. Hubs was to wait ouside for ard 2 hrs. The procedure will take 20min but i will need to rest for 1 or 2 hr before i can be discharged.
Was beri nervous, tot hubs can acc me into the room but then he was shut outside. Man, i realli
dunno wat is awaiting me inside.

A nurse came to take my height and weight and asked me to changed into the procedure clothing. Then another nurse came alot to help to inject a needle into the vein on my hand. I was damn scare can, needles!!!! agggrrrr...I tink i sound like a scary cat cuz i keep asking her whether it was painful to put in the needle, whether the procedure will be painful etc....

She was beri patient wif me, chatting with me when preparing to inject the needle, i tried all my best to hold bak the tears as she inject the needle into my hand, she said it is for the doc to inject the painkiller and sedative.After injecting the needle, she secured it with 2 layers of tape... den, i was sent out to wait as i was the 4th patient to be scheduled. I tink they are tranferrin patients frm the wards to do the scope aso as I can see 1 ah ma being pushed into the procedure rm and she look like she is sedated..

I waited for like an hr b4 i was called in. Once inside, i got more nervous, they made me lie on the bed and started the standard procedure on askin my name, IC no etc. den the doc came and was about to start the procedure when i suddenly asked why they didnt give me the sedative. I dun wan to stay awake thru the procedure!!!!

The nurse replied tat they are injectin now but then the doc juz went ahead wif the procedure!! I was damn scare can...At 1st, it was quite bearable and I stole peeps at the monitor, with my colon shown on it...but then dunno at which point, it got so painful tt i keep shouting to the nurses that i cannot stand the pain any more...

I grab her hands, but the onli tink she can do is to pat me, n keep askin me to take deep breath...i tink i teared abit becuz of the pain but then juz as the pain got unbearable, the procedure end and i was wheel out to rest in the recovery ward..

After the procedure, I am not sure why there was so much wind in my body tat i keep fartin. the nurses advice me to fart as much as i can to clear the wind..it was so malu..to keep fartin while every 1 was sound asleep in the ward.. I was aso wondering why the heck i was so alert why every other patient is sound asleep after the procedure...

Becuz i didnt eat frm the previous nite and the induced diarrhea, i was hungry to the core, so i called for the nurses to come and at 1st they refuse to let me get up but when they learnt tat i was hungry, the let me get up to drink a cup of milo and a few biscuits..

After that they decided to check me out as they realised i am not sleeply...wahaha...it was later that when i saw the report den i realise i was sedated..onli given pain killers...stupid doc, bluff me tat i will be sedated...idiot...to tink i keep wonderin why didnt i fall aslp...

The real torture came when i reached hm...my head was throbbing with pain, it was so painful tat my head nearly brust...after takin a bath i went to rest, but during the evenin after hubs left for his class, i woke up to vomit..not once, not twice but 6 times...i tink i nearly vomit out my guts lo...i nearly want to go to A&E le lo as they instructed me b4 i was discharge tat if there is excessive vomittin, i shd go bak to the hospital...

I went bak to sleep after vomitting...and didnt take any dinner at all...later in the nitez when hubs came hm den he make milo and brought bread 4 me as i haf vomitted out all my lunch...i felt better after tat...though vommitting stopped, but diarrhea still continue till today..thus i stayed hm the whole day today...


Although it was torturing to go thru the procedure, but seeing that the results are ok makes me feel so good. And most importantly, i have hubs beside me to take care of me and my 2 mothers to take care of my food..heheh..felt so loved...but neber agian would i want this experience le...

torTUrIn mySelF

I've started on the consumption for the orally induced diarrhea as prescribed by the doc. Man, the drink was damn awful can..Was wondering whether the drink is for inducing diarrhea or inducing vomiting. It took me more than the suggested time to finish the drink.

To tink i ate quite a lot today as my MIL cooked curry chicken and some shark-fin soup taste alike for us to eat. She was aso quite worried bout my results. Frankly speaking, it felts good to haf another mother who is worried bout me.Heheh... My mummy is preparing porridge for me as dinner as i haf to take smthing like after 6pm to prepare for the induced diarrhea.

The effect kicks in 1hr after the 1st dosage. Keep goin to the toilet till my legs felt wobby. In the end when I couldnt take it anymore, I juz went to sleep. Not before waking up twice to run to toilet.

I am now getting ready to go for my checkup. Hubs will be accompanyin me there, getting more n more nervous, becuz of the results and also becuz of the procedures. I am afraid of pain u see, so quite nervous.

Becuz of the Swine flu, i reckon that hospital will be have a more stringent check on the visitors goin n and out thus we decide to go there earlier in case there is additional time needed for the screening.

Very hungry now but gotta wait till my check up is over before I can eat anything. Now i try to occupied myself by thinking of wat to eat after the check up, that is every thing is well after the check up.

Actually, I am very worried bout the check up results, been losin sleep over this for the past few days, but still gotta carry on with my daily activities as per normal. I keep tellin myself to be positive and treat tiz as a normal checkup but still, i couldnt help but feel afraid. Well, tat's normal, isnt it?

Early saT mORnIN

As promise, hubs brough tme to Coach to check out the bags...but i still haven figure the size leh. If the size i asked val to buy is the smaller 1 den i will be beri dui..i wan the bigger 1...but on the other hand there is onli 2 sizes shown on the webbie..and frm the photos, it seems to be quite big lehz...agggrrrrr...

Well, i tink i gonna go again..whahah, tiz time get a gal to go with me..N i'm gonna wait a few more days n change USD le, with the economy downturn plus the swine flu, tink USD will drop...

Hubs went IPPT early this morning..I'm struck at hm nw waitin for him to come bak to pick me up to go breakie...Just threw the clothes in the machine and while waiting, I started to pick up my books to read..exam is on 10th June and i have not even started. well done...

Later hubs is goin work, so i have the day to my own today...goin clear the clothes 1st as they are piling up then its bak to the books...
