Have you ever notice that most drivers of those sports car – Mazda 8, the Nissan sports car, Mercedes SLK, BMW are all uncles who are at least in their late 40s if not older?

I’ve been complaining to hubs tat whenever I see a sports car, I tend to take a 2nd look at the driver hoping to catch a glimpse of a shuai ge (juz like in moives) behind the wheels but then so far no such luck leh..and I am seriously wondering if only old uncles drive these cars cuz only they can afford to..

Perhaps I haven seen much ba, but then I am still looking hahah.

Yest on our way home after my class, I saw a sports car again and again took a 2nd glimpse at the driver and then I turn to hubs and tell him disgustingly that it was a uncles who looks like in his 50s is behind the wheels, the worse thing is he is balding! To tink I took a 2nd look at him!!!Aggrrr!! All my fantasy of seeing a shuai ge behind the wheels of a sports car are all gone!!!

Know what is his answer to me?

Blogger iS not working properly!!!

I am damn frustrated with Blogger lo...cannot upload pics for nearly 1 whole mth.. there seems to haf an error when i log in..but i see other bloggers successfully uploading the pics lehz...

so angry...till i can upload den i put up some pics...till then, bear with the wordly entries for the time being while i try to figure out how to get help...

appranently, there isnt any help mail i can sent it to and i aso dunno how to describe my situation..damn pek chek!!!!agggrrrr

Dentist visit

Hubs n I make an appointment wif the dentist last wk for a mornin slot today. Mine is at 9 am while his is half an hr later...haf trouble waking up though and i regretted booking such an early slot..damn..

We were running late for the appointment as we woke up 15 min prior to our appointment and we gotta wash up and also walked to the mrt statio where the clinic is located.

Surprisingly, there were 2 other patients waiting there when we reached but since we had an appointment, we could go in 1st.hehe..

The dentist was a very young guy who again surprisingly look not bad..at least is nt those old old aunites who will scold u tat you 4 nt doin a good job in maintainin ur teeth and for not visiting the dentist regularly..heheh

Anyway he was veri shocked when I told him it's been donkey yrs since I last visit a dentist..To be more accurate, I have not been to the dentist since sec 2 when my sec sch moved to its current premises and dont have the facility of a dentist.heheh heng ar..i dun like my sec sch dentist...

The dentist helped me to do polishin n scaling to remove the coffee stains on my teeth..I am a heavy coffee drinker, drinking at least 2 cups of coffee per day..hehe I oredi practice cleanin my teeth after drinkin my coffee but still have haf stains..but then dentist say better den didnt practice anything as the stains would have been worse..

He told me n hubs to each take a x-ray of our teeth to check whether we have wisdom tooth or any decaying teeth or not..I was in for the idea as there is a trent in my company for extracting wisdom tooth recently..scary lehz..i am beri scare lo, as they say cannot realli eat after the extraction..hehehe

Our x ray turns out to be fine, each of us haf 2 wisdom tooth on the upper gums and both seems to post no immediate problems to led to extraction..I was os happie to hear tt can...the dentist aso told me that most pro the teeth will nt grow le and would remain this way..whahahah so happie!!!

B4 ending my cleaning session, he told me to come bak after 6mths for routine cleaning but nt 6yrs..haha I told him if my company continues to give me incentive for dentist visit, i will continue to visit him since this time is also triggered by the incentive heheh...

Okie, this sums up my dentist trip, till 6mths later le..whahaha

Part time Bf

Its been quite some time since I last when out alone with my part time bf...Our last meeting is during the Zoo trip but then have no time to tok and gossip with her la...

So finally, I found the time to date her today..arrange to meet after work at Vivo..Its been damn long since we meet 1 to 1...

We always have alot of topics to tok about whenever we meet de..especially now tat I'm married, sometimes I will share my woes on you-know-who with her..nothing biggie but juz wanna bitch..She aso have her fair share of woes to share too, her family troubles, work and of cuz the soon to be new family..As we are at different stage of life now, I would share with her my experiences, and her, offering suppport for the problems I faced..

This part time is really treat me like her sis, even go overseas will buy bak souvenirs for me...She passed me yest things she brought bak frm HK last yr lo..its like so long le..she still keep for me..whahah so touched...

Dunno when we will get to meet again like tt but i noe tat this great part time of mine will be there for me whenever i need her and vice vesa..till then part time..u take care huh..

Couple time

Finally, Hubs exams came to an end last wkend, we were looking forward to a good wkend together this wkend.
But alas, it has to be disrupted by my flu,which knock me out for 4 days straight.

So this wkend, we are struck at home. He found a new way to clean his bao bei and spent nearly 6 hrs cleaning and polishing his bao bei. Unbelievable rite? whahah..

Been getting better and better at doing hse work..whahah..While hubs went to clean his bao bei, I put in the laundry,brought in the clothes,folded them and iron the work attires for 1 week..All these took me 2 hrs.

Went back to bed after all the housework.Whahah...still sick wat...

Went bak to PIL hse today, it's been 2wks since we last went bak as hubs is having his exams.

Nvm, I look forward to this long wkend, where we realli can spend some quality couple time together.

Discharged.

Went bak for my follow up check up in NUH. Hubs took the day off to go with me.
Phews....Doc say can discharge me le. Meaning to say, I need not go back for further follow up.

Just need to finish the prescribed med and monitor the situation myself.
I would only need to go back when I hit 40. To do a colonscopy again.

Thinking bak, it is really a bad scare but luckily, everything turns out well.
I'm lucky to have the support of my family,fwens and of cuz my hubs.

He neber fail to take leave to acc me to check up whenever I'm due to go back, with him ard me, I felt more peaceful.

Lover's phone

Back during our early dating years, we used to like to carry identical phones. Is either same model different colour, or same model, same colour. Just dunno why, it seems to be cool. Whahah. Just like lover’s shirt. But as hubs got more frequent in his quest to try using all the high end phones that are launched here, I gave up on the idea.

1stly, I dun haf the money to change phone at 1 wk frequency, 2ndly, I super dun like to change my phone as it takes quite a while for me to customized my phone to my daily usage. So usually, I try not to change my phone unless it’s really gone case le. Lastly, I always buy phones around the range of 100bucks after I did a re-contract and hubs have no qualms in forking out 600 bucks for a phone that he set his eyes on, so in this area, I cannot match him lor..

I tink it has been 4 or 5 years since we did use a identical model. This time round, as finally we are carrying the same phone again. I’ve set my eyes on this phone ever since I saw it at its launch. But it wasn’t till I accidentally cause the “death” of his hp then I get to change to this model.

It all started with while I was playing with his hp, and suddenly it juz died on me suddenly. Hubs was like, freaking out lo as he has juz brought the phone..So we sent it bak to the service centre and request for a 1 to 1 exchange since the phone is new and it juz die on us like tt..damn unstable..

I think we are juz suay la, plp use all okie. I touch only, the phone died.But base on my experience as a QA in electronics b4, I tink it’s nt my fault lo..hehehe…Anyway, hubs has already set his sight on another new phone. And so when he offered to give me the phone after it has been exchange, I gladly accept it.hehhe

But after he brought the new phone and play for it like for half a day, he decided that he dun like the user interface and would prefer the 1 I’m using. So he sold the new phone away and brought back the same model as mine. Tat’s how fast he change his phone if he decides he dun like the interface or whatsoever.

In any case, we are back to using identical phones..whahah, it’s been so long…but I wonder how long will it last b4 he change to another phone?Dunno but then let me juz show off our phone..whahah.

To buy or not to buy

Was killing time in Kinokuniya today as I am on half day leave when I came across this book titled: A Nation Cheated” written by 1 of our opposition member.

To be honest, I was tempted to buy this book, I always wanna know what the opposition have to say about our country, their different views on our government who I am so proud of although not agreeing with every of their policy.

But then, too bad, this particular opposition member, I totally cannot agree with his actions, loud, crude, rude, often acting like “ Ah Siao” is not gonna win any votes from the people. So much so that, when he came to my area to contest for a particular year, I keep telling my parents rem dun mark wrongly on the votes so as not to accidentally give the vote to his party.

So as I stand there looking at the summary of the book, I keep tinking if I buy the book, I would be contributing to his funds rite? So in the end, much as I wan to buy the book, I decided against it so that I will not be contributing to his funds. Whahah I aso dunno what I have against this guy…

If 1 day I come across a book written by the other 2 opposition members, I would buy without hesitations for I have quite high regards for them for being able to stand against our government and give a different view.

PUK pin

Was on the way home juz now and I was quite bored and took out my new Jet and try out the new new functions of the phone. Man, I’ve got the new phone for 1 wk le and is still not familiar with it’s functions…whahaha

Anyway, my itchy hands make me go activate my sim card pin and turns out that besides the sim card pin, there is still another pin call PUK-personal unlocking key. I didn’t know what it is lo, tot it was the phone’s pin number. With on 10 chances and had already used 1, I decided to check out the phone manual at home for the default phone pin b4 decidin wat to do.

The thing is, my phone is locked by the toopid pin screen and I cannot call hubs to ask for help lo. I raced to take out the manual book as soon as I reached hm but couldn’t find the pin number page, guess there is no pin lock for the phone.

So I changed hubs spare sim card into my phone to make sure that my phone is not lock and suddenly, smthing strike me and I called M1 customer service line. After listening thru the instructions then I realize I can check my PUK using the NIRC of the subscriber..but then the automated voice sucks lo, totally couldn’t make out what the hell the person was mumbling.

I then speak to the customer service officer who read out my PUK code..She then told me if I had enter the code wrongly for 10 times, my Sim card would be deactivated and there’s no way I can activate it, which means, all my contacts will be gone… Heng ar, I only tried like 3 times den gave up and call them le..Else, I tink, I will go bang the wall le..

Well,after that I immediately went to off the pin settings..no way I can rem the digits PUK by heart and I’m not going to risked losing my contacts when the SIM card kena locked!

Harry Potter

Skipped Jap class and went to watch Harry Potter with hubs yest..Hubs is complaining tat we have not been spending quality time together as our class schedules are clashing, thus ask me to give up on fri jap class and acc him...okie la, we realli neber spend much time together lo..sat is spend running errands tt we need to settle..sun is parents' visiting day lo..

Anyway, since hubs is nt working yest, he gt all the time in the world to go get e tix..he say a few cinemas all left the 1st 3 rows lo..which is a big no-no for me..thus we decided on JP..the show is 9pm lo, so we got all the time in the world to shop..hehe brought 2 t shirts n 1 jumper..hehe..
while we were walking in B1,suddenly the gates are shutting down lo...like going to trap us in B1 like tt..

Abit scare lo then we quickly went thru the gates and get to level 1..seems like fire alarm went off lo but then as we walked ard the mall to level 3, every 1 seems to be unaware of the alarm like or even better still, aware but couldnt care less..When hubs is queueing up to collect our pre order tix, i went to take a look hoping to find the source of alarm..but realli,every 1 is totally oblivious to the alram lo..this is a scary phenomenon lo..wat if is a real fire how??

Anyway,bak to the Harry Potter show, eh, the ending like abit hanging there lo, can see still will have continuation de..eh, dunno whether is I'm too tired or the show is abit boring, I fell aslp in between the show lo..woke up juz in time to watch the last part of the show..realli, if u asked me, i tink this show is nt worth to watch at the prime time slot lo...Okie. Gonna paste the crystals on my new watch le...will upload when it is done...hehhehe

baK to KlUaNG AFTeR 3 mONTHs

Heheh, i did a check on my passport, the last Malaysian immigration I have on my passport shows 11th Apr 2009. Which means to say, its' been exactly 3 mths since I last went back for a visit..wHAhhaha break record, I use to go bak once a month, if not max 2 mths. This by far, the longest break. But I have an explaination for this kk, I am super busy during wkend, heheh sat is reversed for dating with hubs while Sun is "Parent's visiting day" . Last time use to haf fri nitez de, but I'm down for jap class on fri till Aug..Hubs been complaining bout this recently....

After 2 wks of procastination, I finally went bak yest, hehe nearly wan to slp bak again when my alarm clock went off at 5.45 am, but manage to drag my ass to the toilet to wash up and wake up...We took the 7.40am express train yest which is scheduled to reach Kluang at 9.47am but then dunno due to wat ever crap reasons, we were struck for nearly an hr at the Singapore Woodlands Immigration where the doors were kept shut while we r left standing there like refugees waiting to board the train again....Toopid, no reason or watsoever were given...

Reached Kluang at 10.30am, but then my aunt has been waiting for 1 hr le, lucky she is those beri patience kind, cuz she is use to waiting for her kids to get off sch so heheh thanks alot xiao yi..Went for hubs n my fav curry noodles, a muz visit whenever we go bak den its down to town for abit for shopping den to my aunt's bookshop to catch up for the past 3 months events..

I met my cousin who is bak from Zhejiang, China for her summer holidays...She was telling me on the culture shock she have from her stay there and also her life there...And well, we were beri proud of her achievements. Despite her majoring Chinese in a chinese enviornment, she went on be to one of the top in her corhort and China is now offering her a scholarship to continue her studies for a Master's degree...Man, wat can I say, I realli take my hat off her and is so proud of her....

Xiao yi den brought us to buy durain, cuz its the season now and durains there r super cheap lo.. I neber buy durain in SG de, cuz I find them over priced and since I can get to eat in Kluang, no point spending the money here rite? heheh beri full from the durains and still need take dinner at my er yi's hse...Er yi is easily the best cook in my family with her learning all the recipes from my late grandma....

We were scheduled to take the 6.47pm train bak to SG but then the stupid train was super late can??arriving at onli 8.15pm lo...by then, hubs' face is as black as charcoal le...cuz we were sitting at the station feeding the mozzies there...Still, I find it safer to take the train bak to SG as we need not get down in JB...all the way straight to SG...the onli down side is the inability of KTM to stick to their train schedules and the lack of explaination for the delays...The sales counter staff were also not friendly to add on to the unhappiness...

I still went to do my laundry when we came bak last nitez as I need to prepare hubs' working clothes...hehe not beri dry but then it's juz nice for ironing as I need nt spray water..whahaha... gd idea, next time i juz take the semi dry clothes and iron will do le...the moisture inside is juz nice to make the clothes shine and I need not waste water to spray...whahahha...

Win or Lose?

I have a habit of drinking a cup of milk b4 bed time every day, today as the 2 of us are facing our lappies, i suddenly ask hubs whether he wanna drink his soya bean milk..below are the extracts of our conversation...do not read on if you cannot stand lovely dovely things...

Me: 老公公，要喝豆奶吗？
Hubs (eyes didnt leave his lappie): 要！
Me: 要，自己去倒咯。。。
Hubs: 我的老婆婆不爱我了，我在赶report，她叫我自己去倒豆奶。。
Me: 我的老公公也不爱我了，要我去倒豆奶给他喝。。

In the end, i got up and went to pour 2 cups, milk for myself, soya bean for him..whahah i lost... basically, we will repeat this conversation every nitez and its always I go pour de, cuz he will be always focusing on his lappie...

That's the Lees' for you..our own way of live...Will post more of this kind of conversation when i remember...hahah..stay tuned...

Forgive & Forget

Was reading an old fwen's blog and she mentioned about having problems with her hubby's famly i.e PIL..While, it kinda reminds me of my on situation but abit different is, the pro does not lie with my PIL but some 1 else..



It has been nearly a yr since the incident happen but in my heart I knew, no where near the future will I be able to forget this issue..This is nt about me being petty, this is about me hating unreasonable plp and the most important thing, messing up my wedding plans....



No doubts, everything went smoothly in the end, i had a beautiful wedding, happy honeymoon and best of all, a wonderful husband but time and again, i will be reminded that how things was so mess up in the 1st place that i nearly didnt want to go ahead with the wedding plans..



It was with the encouragement from my family members, my dear sisters, my colleagues and of cuz my hubs that I manage to pull thru all these and get on with the wedding preparation which was 9months ahead of plans..9 months ahead, dunno whether any 1 have any idea how rush the things got when we scrambled to take our wedding shoots, re-calculate the wedding date, re- coordinate with my fwens who all went to take leave for the new wedding date, re-calculate our budget as we brought it forward 9 months, re-informing plp of my new wedding date and gotta repeat the story to every 1 else who asked why the date was 9months earlier, re-deciding my honeymoon destination as Hubs is not able to take long leave during start of yr and of cuz money issues...



I was tired out by juz sorting out the details and get the preparations moving, money issues were solved and hubs n i decided to go for smthing simple and of cuz honeymoon is changed to Korea and with the promise that I will go on my Europe trip once he finish his degree next yr. The biggest disappointment is the date...I originally have a date that I was so happie tat is suited us but in the end, gotta juz take the limited dates i have so that i would not clash with them.



How I got thru the meeting with them without punching the daylights out of her when she tok without any sensitivity is still a mystery till date not onli with me, but my sisters/fwens who noe the story. Everytime when I see her now reminds me of the incident as thought as it juz happens yest...I dread to face her on every occasion as I really cannot get over it, I mean, which bride will forgive any 1 who mess up their wedding plans? Its a once in a lifetime issue ya noe?



I am still consider a lucky person with hubs rallying behind me, he knew of my feelings and tried to make things easier for me by avoiding meeting them too but smtimes if it is unavoidable, then i will have to live with it, but the lucky thing is, we are living on our own and basically can avoid meeting them as much as possible..



Till this day, I am still puzzled how can some 1 as unreasonable as this person exist in this world since me n hubs oredi did wat we can to avoid this incident by practically asking them for permission to go ahead with the wedding in the 1st place and onli to get the bomb at the last min...Morale of the story, when plp wants to be unreasonable, it's useless to tok reasons with them....

March Babies Zoo Trip 2009

The last time I step in the Singapore Zoological gardens was in 2007 when part time bf got hold of free tickets to go to the zoo..heheh..tt was like 2 yrs bak le lo...heheh 2 yrs later, part time again got free tickets for us to visit zoo again...heheh

We meet at 10.45am but got held up abit cuz dear dear was struck in a jam..As usual, we went to watch the elephant show at 11.30am...it was part time's fav and aso mine..although the show is always the same but then they neber fail to make me luff at the part about the elephant refusing to wake up frm its nap...

We then went to walk ard with part time and JM leading us the way...Dear was super excited at every enclosure can...I tink if its allowed, she will bring the tigers, lions, puma, the different species of primates hm as pets lo...whahhaha...beri cute, her expressions....after all these yrs still the same..

Zoo pretty much remains the same....but then it was great to see the gals despite every 1's busy schedule..a pity partner didnt come along...and ya..forgot to take photos with the guys this time..mayb 2 yrs later ba..hahah hopefully this visit will continue on....

Over and done

yipppeeeee..My 1st ACCA paper is finally over...whahaha...so gald its over...i've gt like 3 wks of holidays b4 the next sch term..come july, i will take 2 modules..dunno can cope or nt...but 1 module like abit slack like..if i take 1 module each sem, dunno need to studee till when le...

Man, the burden is finally gone..my 1st business paper...nt as bad as i imagine and as the lecturer had make it out to be..or is it my imagination??dunno, i find the paper manageable leh.. typical ans is "Can pass, but cannot Score"whahahah...heck care, as long as can pass, i celebrate le...

Nw tt i have time on my hand, i'm gonna go bak to my jewellery making..been buying too much beads/findings but nt doin anything...hahahha..i wan make new earrings/bracelets/rings/necklaces heheh...

While waiting for Hubs today...

Although I was sick yest and slept half a day away, I manage to drag my ass up tiz morning to acc mum's godma-Popo to AH for her physiotherapy session...Actually I wanted to bak out and ask mummy to go de, but decide against it as mummy gotta work today..i was super tired ar, and slept in the waiting area 4 a while b4 takin out my books to studee...

After sending popo hm, i went down to Chinatown..tt day i saw a lady wearin a nice pearl bracelet and wanna make a similar 1 4 myself...afraid that i might 4get the design, i need to go down quickly to get the required pearls since i onli stock up on the beads but nt the pearls...

Hubs 1st called and say he can book out by 12.30 and told me to wait 4 him to take lunch together but as i was reaching chinatown, he say change to 2pm...faint...i need wait till at least 3pm b4 he can reach le...

Since I have so many hrs to spare b4 meetin him, so i decided to walk ard chinatown and aso help my dad to search for foot reflexology posters for him to paste n his shop..but after walkin ard 3 shopping centres-Chinatown point, People's park centre and Pearl's centre, I gave up..

I walked passed DMK and saw a pair of shoes that I like and decide to try my luck and asked whether they have bigger size or not...I have tried askin twice b4 this and both time, they told me the largest size is 38 while my size is 40..i tink today is my lucky day lo, the sales auntie told me their largest size is 41..which means there is hope for me should the shoe cutting is small, at least can get the biggest size...heheh

But then after checking, the sales auntie told me tat both 40 & 41 are sold out..I was so shocked can, didnt expect there will be gals with feet as big as mine..whahah...smmore 2 colours both sold out...with 2 pairs each...which means there are mayb 4 gals with feet as big or bigger den mine.. The sales auntie told me to try 39 as the cuttin of the shoes are of bigger cut and thus i decided to try...The shoe is surprising quite fittin although is 39 lo, but nevertheless, i got the sales auntie to help me expand the shoes and she went an extra step to help me apply wax ard the sides to make them more comfortable to wear...In the end, I was a happie customer...on top of tat, i have found 1 more shop to shop in given my big sized foot....the onli shops i patronize are Charles n Keith(Seldom now as their shoes are quite uncomfortable and will always give me blisters, now i change to buy their bags le), URS-their designs may take quite a while to change but usually their shoes are quite lasting and comfortable..D&C a brand which can onli be found in Chinatown, IMM and Far East I tink,smtimes their shoes design is abit off but smtimes if u r lucky, can get quite nice design...but their shoes are nt tt lastin as compared to URS..but prices are of cuz lower too...So DMK is now in my list le...aiming to get the VIP card...heheh

My new shoes-erm...okie, my phototaking skills didnt do justice to its beauty...haha

After shoppin, I went to Coffee Bean to grab a cup of ice blended mocha and my Fav--double chocolate chip muffin...although it is a no no given my current situation but i realli cannot resist the temptation...heheh sat there for a while b4 procceding to OG for the aircon to get away frm the heat...

I walked ard OG for quite a while, goin round n round, touching everyting along the way...I was bored to tears le, n Hubs is still struck in the camp..I spent quite a long time in the household dept..tinking whether to buy the bedsheets on offer...its quite reasonable, the price..59bucks for 280 threads,100% cotton, a complete set with quilt cover..but then i haf more than enuff bedsheets le lo..My MIL gave me like 5 sets, and i aso brought 1 new set during my weddin..so i decide nt to spend the money..maybe buy towards yr end for CNY use..whahah..

Next i went to the kids dept and aso spend a long time there playin with the toys...whahah tink plp might think i'm siao le..but i juz wanna check out on the new toys ma...In the end, i brought a Care bear to hang on my new Longchamp bag, which seems kinda of plain to me..heheh as there were alot of colours to choose frm, i took my time to try out every colour...hahaha I also wanna buy the big 1 leh but my rm no space le, n hubs say cannot put in his bao bei..*bleah*

Hubs finally came at 3.30pm..but then i was already slply,hungry and grouchy frm the heat..it's been a long long day for me....

lele is sick

I'm sick sick sick....been having runnin nose for the past 2 wks...but then still okie..juz tat i can feel smthing big is comin up...today, while in office, suddenly i keep feelin my throatin is burnin n painful...in a span of 2hs, i have already drank 3 bottles of ice water hopin the sore throat will go away..cuz everytime when i develop a sore throat, it will lead to a full blown flu, fever, headache, bodyache,running nose will complete the whole flu package...at this time when the mention of flu will set off the alarm bells for H1N1, i realli did nt wan to get it..

Plus as we haven finish the reporting for May, thus i dun wan to go on MC...but i'm still waiting for my FM to finish her inputs b4 i can move on with the reports...But yest, my accountant has finished her overdue reports and so, i decided to finish updating it 1st b4 decidin whether to go hm or nt...it took me the whole mornin to finish updating the report...but by the, my head is throbbin and threatenin to explode any time le...

My FM notice that my face is quite pale aso and adivse me to go see the doc after lunch...I tink its onli fair that i go see a doc le, if the virus is passed to other colleagues, its not fair for them..so after i'm done with the overdue reports, i went downstairs to the company doc..but need to wait till 2pm b4 its open and since i'm in no state to stand there for half an hrs, i decided to come hm here n see my usual doc...

The clinic nurses will takin precaution when they heard that i'm hafin sore throat n fever..all of them were wearin mask..and i muz say, the doc is super fast in her diagnosis lo..every patient goes in for onli 5 min den come out le...she said tat my throat is infected le and started me on a course of antibiotics and a few other med...

I told a nap after that med and juz woke up for dinner..hubs will nt be comin hm tonitez due to his night trainin...haiz...gotta slp alone tonitez...i hate it and especially when i'm sick...gonna take a shower and goin to turn in le...

My new hobby

I'm nt sure how many of my fwens noe, but i totally love doing DIY beads jewelleries and have quite a collection of them. But since i'm always juggling btw sch and work, in recent yrs, i have slow down on the creation.mayb once in a while den i dabble with it.

Recently, there is this new craze of blinging ur accessories with the stick on crytals...i've been tempting to try them but always cannot find smthing suitable to try without worryin about spoilin it...i actually wanna bling my new camera de but is afraid of spoilin it with the super glue..plus if nt properly done, it will be beri ugly...and also if i bling, hubs will nt be able to use it as it is too loud for his usage le..so i dropped the idea...

1 day while we were out, as i was wearin my sunglasses,it suddenly strike me that i can bling my sunglass!!!since it is nt an expensive 1...i juz brought it for my korea trip as plp told me that the snow can be quite glaring...but then i didnt realli use it there...since goggles were provided during skiing, and other than that, the snow will nt thick enuff to cause discomfort to my eyes...hehe...

okie, back to my idea of blingin my sunglass...i read in a blog that the crystals sold at Arab street is quite cheap and got hubs to bring me there...eh..i'm nt sure it is cheap leh, i tink its cheaper at the shop in chinatown that i usually patronised...but anyway i brought 2 pacs frm the uncle since i'm there le...gt abit discount smmore, but jas told me that the uncle always give discount automatically de..hhahha

Den i went to buy epoxy glue frm DIY shop and brought 1 that onli sets in 90min so i'll have ample time to shift ard the crytals to get them in the rite positions..for a starters, i juz did the sides of my glasses and is waiting for them to set it...but then have to keep adjusting the crystals frm time to time as they keep shifting out of position...i juz found that cannot apply too much glue..it will be come too slippery for the crystals to stay on...

I aso try to stick some onto the hair clips..hehe but then since i have limited beads, i'm juz tryin out 1st..wait till i'm confident enuff den i will start blinging my own accessories..tink need to wait till my exams are over b4 i can spend time on this le...hehehhe

The 1 book I've been reading recently is the pocket notes of F1..The paper which I am suppose to take next wed...Although the lecturer has mentioned that it is nt enough to juz read the pocket notes, but the actual notes are too heavy to bring along to work..thus I make do with wat i have ba, since i dun spend as much time on travellin as compared as b4...

But this book will be become history after next wednesday...so the search of a new book as begun...I always have this habit of readin b4 bed time or during travel times to keep myself occupied..it seems that time moves faster this way and i will not find the journey long if i read on my way...

Yest, as i was readng TNP, i came across an article featuring a local writer and her book - The Mile HI! Club...In this book, the author who is an ex air stewardess gives an insight on the job of a steward/stewardess.

So today, after dinner with mummy, she suggest to go Popular to walk ard and I decide to go check out whether they carry this title or not, if nt, den i will haf to go to kino and buy le...hehe lucky, they still carry this title under local write and hence i brought a copy...couldnt wait to start readin to see wat juicy stories tat the stewardess had write about..

hehe till then, den i will do an entry on the book...i go read it le...
