Its the return of crazy work week..agggrrrr...Being a short month and with CNY holidays falling in this month, our working days are cut short. Not that I am complaining, but time is realli not on our side, luck isnt too.
My IT programmer who is employed help to sovle the system problems tat occurs after splitting of data from our sister company is not able to solve the problems. Results of this? I have to do manual data entry. Which means, I try to download whatever I can and pluck into the report format than go thru the entries 1 by 1 to fill in the empty details by referring back to our accounting system, you guess it 1 by 1 too.
How time consuming can it get? On top of it, I rushing out the payroll and taxes of Msian crews which are essential for their payroll. The worst thing is, there is alot of transferring of staff in between vessels and I need to ensure I pay the correct amount to them in 1 account as it makes no sense to pay to same account twice for different vessels.
The coordination, the amendments, the finalising took a long time. I was tired out by the whole thing.In view of my up coming vacation, I would need to rush to clear as much work as I can to ensure my back log would not flood me to death when I come back.
Aggrrr..headache as I type out this post. 1 more day to my NZ GST deadline...
