Happie Horse Year 2014 Day 4- Day out with Bestie and god son

Bestie came back from Glasgow with her Baker & My god son for this CNY and we took the chance to arrange a day's out. Since she have only 10days here, we arranged way beforehand on my slot to meet up and luckily for both of us, my leave was approved.

And so after changing 300 times (what's new for Bestie), we finally meet up in West Gate. God son's reaction was not what I expected. He cried loudly when I greeted them. Faints. Later Bestie explained that he is crying from hunger and that makes me feel a little tad better.

After feeding him, we move on to walk around the mall till it is time for Bestie to go for her appointment. I find her amazingly braved. She is braved enough to consider leaving god son with me for no fear that her son would cry himself hoarse without seeing her.

We tried to get him to familiarize with me by having me pushing him around as we walked. It worked for a while till he sees him mum and start whining. Bestie practices "Out of sight, out of mind".  It kinda work and Bestie slip off to her appointment, leaving me with God son.

And so we begin our bonding time which essentially is me pushing him around the whole level while he takes in the sights along the way. Poor baby, he was so tired that he fell asleep resting his head on the handle. I didn't realized initially but later I confirmed he fell asleep by checking his reflection. Haha

 I didn't dare to stop even though he fell sleep and so continued walking round the level while waiting for Bestie. She returned after 45min and we moved on to lunch. Luckily for us, baby sleep all the way while we were having lunch, catching up. It was only after our lunch then he woke up. Good boy indeed.

Baby woke up in a good mood and we moved on to find a place for him to have lunch. After which, he look happy enough to allow me to carry and pose with me. So happy!! He was quite a worm though, had a hard time trying to contain him. Haha But the last time I carried him, he was still 6months old and only rests his head on my shoulder. Now, it is difficult to get a clear shot of him not to mention resting on my shoulder. Haha.

We then took the train to Bugis to do some shopping. The talkative boy was chatting up ladies on his way to town. Haha You can feel his good mood after a nap and meal plus going out. Perhaps Glasgow is not as crowded as Singapore and thus god son had a field day trying to take in every thing that comes into his sight.

After shopping, we settled down for coffee and god son was cranky again. No matter how I tired to pacify him, he is still cranky. Haha Bestie said he is sleepy again and I suggested to use the old way.to make him sleep. I ended up pushing him around the level again and he fell asleep son after giving time for Bestie and I to chat again.

Am so glad that we managed to spend some quality time together. Though we still keep in touch via whatsapp and skype but it is not the same as seeing each other physically. Of course, I am happy to have my god son undivided attention for a few hours. Hopefully when he returns from UK during year end, he would be able to greet me "Godma" :)
