a neW BegiNNinG: Birthday trip to KSL& Legoland - Legoland (Boating school & Rescue Academy)

We reached Legoland after 30min of travelling and went in search for breakfast 1st. Legoland opens at 10am. There are 2 rows of shops just beside the hotel where there are some eateries here. We decided on KFC breakfast and I nearly teared when I saw the food! Pathetic is an understatement lo. There is also a convenience store here and we brought 2 big bottles of mineral water in. Food and drinks inside Legoland proves to be more costly.

Took some photos at the entrance before proceeding in excitedly. Bro stopped me from going to the gift shop and asked me to proceed to the rides 1st. It was a super hot day and more has yet to come.

We came to the 1st attarction- The Driving school and went in excitedly. To our dismay this is for little kiddos to drive the cars around the circuit. Totally unsuitable for the adults. I beginning to suspect there will be more of these rides that we are too big size or too old to take.

Next we came across the Boating school and this 1 seems better. At least I see adults queuing up. Haha We decided to go for a ride while piggy bro prefers to stay outside to take photos of the surrounding and later, us.

Had told him to stay close to here since he is famous for wandering away by himself. I safe keep his passport to threaten him too. Hehe

The queue was not too long and we waited for 15min. This is the longest waiting time in our whole trip here.

The boat itself has a pedal below which you have to step on it to get the boat moving. A steering wheel for you to manoeuvre the boat left or right.

It seems pretty easy but as usual I let Mr Love take the wheel since I wanna take photos. Haha Plus, I am not so sure about my motoring skills.

As we moved out from the shore

There is nothing much interesting about this ride as you just take a tour round the water way. We took 5mins to complete the tour.

But there was these 3 jokers who either dunno how to operate the boat or trying to prolong the ride time. They keep turning their boats at the same spot and at 1 point was going in the opposite direction. Think they took 15min to complete the ride. But under this unforgiving hot sun, don't think it is such a good idea.

We then came to The Rescue Academy, I had saw this being featured in 1 of the show and wanted to try it out. The 2 guys who did not know what is in store for them agreed to my suggestion. Hurhur.

This is suspose to be a competition between 4 vehicles(2 fire engines, 2 police car). Every team (Ideally 4 pax) will get on a vehicle and a staff will start off the competition. 2 persons will have to pump the vehicle to get it moving.

Once we reached the building, 2 persons will then go pump the water pumps while another 2 will use the water jet and take aim at the fire card in the building. A smiling fireman will appear if you have pump enough water accurately into the hole of the card. This is to simulate that you have put out the fire.

Then the team will return to the vehicle where another round of pumping starts to get back to the starting point. 1st team to reach wins but no prizes are given. Haha

I had the luxury of sitting back while the 2 guys puff and pump to move the vehicle. I nearly died laughing while they nearly died pumping. Haha There was only another vehicle challenging us and of course we won it easily since I have 2 guys in the team.

The 2 of them were complaining that it is super tiring and refuse to play another game with me no matter how I begged them to. I did not want to be the 1 pumping so the deal was off.
